Dresden. I have an idea for a mod for DeI. Can you make no Fog Of War for similar cultures. My idea would be all Celts see other Celts on Campaign map, Germans see other Germans, Romans see Carthage and pretty much the whole mediterranian. I always thought it was kind of strange that similar cultures had no idea where the other factions were. I'm not a modder and I'm not sure it would be even possible, just an idea.

Dresden enemy units in DEI are immortal. Doesn't matter the unit. Arrows just bounce off.
I have installed DEI 1-3 and Alexander. Your beautiful work is ruined as the game is now unplayable. Have I installed something wrong? I sent you a FB message. Thanks. Cris

Im using the X turns per year mod with seasonal effects would it be possible to have reduced or no attrition for say like desert factions in the desert as they are use to the desert climate/ enviroment ?

Thank for your work and devotion to the game. You and your team. I like your work.

I've a quetsion: After searching help for days and trying several modifications in the startpos.esf file, nothing changed in the game.
Im trying to modify the value of ressources. So i go to the Dei pack. I go to DeI ressources effect, commodities and ressources files. I multiply the initial values by 2. Nothing changed.
For instance, in imperator augustus campaign, iron has a value of 10. With my modification it should be 20.

Later on, I noticed i should have modified the startpos.esf file. In the campaign the one with augustus imperator, i go to campaign_env and world and go to Campaign_Trade_Manager and Ressources table.

I have no idea what to change so I used 0 for each value of each ressources. I got crash or nothing has changed. I tried different combination and still no changes.

Any idea ?

New mod - Banditry & Plagues, adds the features from Empire Divided back into the other campaigns. Not compatible with DeI or other overhauls (but DeI will feature this soon)

Yeah I can't find your actual created startpos.esf, it's still the main game startpos.esf in campaign/main_rome, not the mod, so..
What I've done is edit the Save Game version on the first turn for now, but i'd like to be able to edit the actual startpos.esf that you have created for DeI really....but it doesn't exist even with the mod running via TWC launcher via Steam...as I said it's the Original startpos.esf in campaign/main_rome, not your overite/created startpos.esf...

But changing start positions isn't a simple thing and not really possible to an existing startpos

Hello, I can't find the location of the DeI startpos.esf file? Can someone please help, I just want to make some very small modifications to the starting point of the game and have been modding for years, but I can't find the location of this Mods startpos.esf??

dresden, I don't know if you take request but is it possible to make a mod that fixes the buildings on the campaign map, when I played as the Lusitani, the buildings on the map are not situated on land. It always bugged me and I believe their are more settlements like that, is their a way to correct this?

would love to see rise of Christanity mod become more compatiable with other mods, like Radious, or at least modify the current mod to allow for more armies . Otherwise I do really enjoy to mod

Very few of my mods will work with the Constantine mod, because it is a large overhaul of the campaign setting. It includes Traits, Talents and Toadies and my City Sack/Liberation mod, so you don't have to run them.

As far as other people's mods, it is compatible with small mods like unit packs, graphics mods, camera mods, etc.

You need patch 12 beta to run Constantine, it has nothing to do with the out of date thing (which is meaningless).

Released various Patch 7 beta versions of my mods. I will update the main mod pages once the official Patch 7 is released.

Radious edits the startpos file (the same file that I edit to make the empire mods). So, if his mod loads first it won't work with mine. Unfortunately, you can't change mod load priority in the current Mod Manager.
