Ive been through all my mods and assets today 100+ mods and around 4000 assets. Took the whole day and this was one of the last ones downloaded, so I can confirm this network is causing the issue at least in correlation with some other mod which used to play nice.
You can achieve the same thing if you place a road that is one square too big, place your building, then replace the road with a smaller one. As long as it is only one square away it will still stay connected and traffic can access it.
I appreciate the effort and still give a thumbs up, as it appears to work well for others.
Also nice music in the vid. Who are they?
OH man your three part series is awesome thank you so much for sending me that! I actually did read through that cslmodding.info guide and I was able to make sense of it but it seems to barely scratch the surface.

5. I tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing to Modern Lighting and Big Fat Industry Roads and the same issue persists :(
Any idea as to what I should try next?
Many thanks
1. I subscribed to Networks Skins 2, enabled it from the content manager, and made sure to disable Parallel Road Tool because that mod is currently not compatible with NS 2.
2. I was already subscribed to Bushy Grass and it is working, appears in game and content manager.
3. The Steam Workshop says I am subscribed to Modern Lighting Pack Liberated and Big Fat Industry Roads, but then when I launch the game and go to my content manager, Modern Lighting isn't listed in my mods so I can't enable it and Big Fat Industry Roads isn't listed in my assets.
What i could do, is a three lane, 1 way, and it'll be significantly narrower.
Re: power lines, I typically swap out your utility poles with different avenue lamp posts. Just hoping there won't be mandatory power lines in between lampposts if ever. Hehe.
I'll be thinking about the powerlines next.
Rural has some new road markings and more grass. It is designed to transition to gravel roads rather than regular roads.
Tarmac has pure white road markings to distinguish from Rocky and Asphalt (which use different mixes of white and yellow).
Concrete and Rural will also be updated to the new standard, but will remain minimalist and plain.
Junctions are never going to line up 100%, but it renders much better now, especially cross junctions. T Intersections are now able to tender without the stretch effect. Transitions to "normal" roads look good now tho it's a bit quirky.
The lanes i can adjust. They have the bare minimum 2.5m needed to not collide with other trucks. Standard roads tend to be 3m and highways 4m. I just dont want to take up space that could block a truck.
I'll upload new textures for asphalt and rocky gray by today.
The lanes seem a tad on the small side when I zoom in and watch the trucks. It seems that their sideview mirrors would collide but maybe that's just a me thing. I'm weird. :P
The lanes currently fit the trucks, just about. Do you mean it has to be wider or something?
I will look into electricity that is something I didn't think of.
I think this asset has a good deal of potential, for sure! This is an asset that I didn't know I needed until I found it. You need more support on this! Keep perfecting/tweaking it. :)
I'm always happy to give a good shoutout to assets I find that are, in my opinion, worth while/have great potential in my cities AND others. Let me know if/when any updates come and I'll give them a lookover in my city. :)
My tweaks I'd like (in text format):
1) fix the lanes to better "fit" the trucks.
2) The road transitions are scary to look at and gave me nightmares last night. o.o
3) the T intersections are a bit wonky, even using just these roads. The texture gets all squished and grainy.
4) (dreaming here): Maybe the power poles function and have wires between them? That would make this an amazeballs asset anyone who likes industry would love. :)
