It seems that this mod affects the little krissalids from "the hive". Is there any way to fix this?

Perhaps there can be optional removal of resistance order/continent bonus as well.

I tried to use melee headshot mods on a previous run so melee and ranged would have parity, but it just meant my melee troops could infinitely bounce off Lost to traverse the whole map.

Gonna try this instead so the game is actually strategic instead of stupid. Thank you for this.

So, if I turn this on, and also have Melee Headshots, will they counter act and have no headshots at all? Or will it be that the only headshots will be from melee attacks?

Highly recommended; Makes the lost an actual concern and puts a greater value on Area of Effect abilities for dealing with them. If you feel like the Lost are more of a chore than a legitimate threat give this mod a try :steamthumbsup:

I use this with a couple of mods that buff the lost with more damage and health and I think I went overboard, I recommend using this mod with vanilla lost, everything else and you are asking for a deathwish.

Fuck people downvoting this mod. It's a nice mod for if you want the Lost to be a big challenge and works great out of the box.

Great stuff. The lost are actually interesting to play against, rather than just a chore.

Just a heads up, this mod should not be combined with The Hive. The rippers (little 2 health guys) use the lost headshot mechanics but are very much not tuned for not being able to headshot chain them. As far as I can tell, as long as even one chryssalid of any kind is still alive (including a single ripper), at least two, often four more rippers will spawn. They act as soon as they spawn and then again on the same turn during a reflex phase. They are very challenging even with headshots enabled. I can confirm that it was literally impossible to beat even a mission with no timer that involved killing all hostiles because I couldn't kill them as fast as they spawned.

Honestly I think the Lost are a joke faction at best. Over 7-8 campaigns I've seen them actually kill like 3 things, all aliens I've gotten down to 1 hp and they just happen to be there when I ran out of turns/ ammo.

@eclisplszr - No I have not, but what I like about this mod now is that melee attacks against the lost don't have a disadvantage, since you don't get free moves from shots anymore. So I don't think that I will be trying that one. I think that this mod is a really good balance for the lost. Now the ultra sonic lure will come into play also. Thanks Mitzruti!!

I really like this mod. Even with WWL they are still too easy. I just tried it on a horde mission, using RPG I brought gauntlets for almost everyone. Also pistol with the spray ability is a good one. Completed the mission with only two minor injuries.

Anyone tried this mod? I'd like to try it but i'm unsure how it would work with Limited Reloads, Lost Bladestorm and Fair Lost Targeting. Want to make my Lost a genuine threat but don't want them to become gamebreaking enemies who I need to avoid at all costs.

Interesting so the bulletmeister can tag them then? Lure just makes it so lost across the map will give priority to whats within the radius, so doesn't quite allow tagging specific targets.

Well this should be enjoyable. Still wish there was a mod to allow you to lure and guarentee the lost hit targets as that would make this excellently double edged.
