As far as I can tell from the description, if you have the plated armor schematic unlocked and purchased you should have the Eldar armors as well. If not then it is probably a conflict.
Assuming you have built the plated armor schematic, check the armors available to equip. The eldar armors should be in there.
If you use content from Advent2Empire though, you'll need to ask DimDim (I think he goes by Zero on Steam now) if you want to his Space Marine/Sisters of Battle armors, which are originally from the Armours of the Imperium mod.
Minor bug: Several of the helmets have plumes controlled by the hair colour, but while they are equipped the hair colour is locked, meaning you have to unequip/equip the helmet back and forth to get the colour just right.
Trouble with the DoW2 models is they're fairly dated, model wise they're fine outside of the hands that don't have individual fingers considering it's a strategy game and that amount of detail wasn't necessary, plus the textures would look a bit muddy in comparison to XCOM's.
Regardless glad you made the mod.
Would be great to see some Incubi slicing imperials ^^
The Eldar armor, generally, looks great, you put effort into it. There are clipping issues here and there, specifically with helmets, but it's no biggie. The voices are also of high quality, I managed to compare the voices from one mod with Taldeer voicepack and your Farseer one, and your version is cleaner and better.
The "biggie" is that the armor itself looks like plastic and very low-poly compared to other modded armor pieces, such as Stenchfury Modular for example. The helmets are REALLY oversized, and should be scaled down, at least by a third, maybe even more. The Eldar bodysuit cosmetic is not intuitive to find, it probably should be moved to torso gear.
You probably should look at the models people ripped for Source Film Maker, maybe you could ask them to use those models. Or rip them from DoW 2/3, because models from Eternal Crusade are not that good in terms of quality and general feeling.
Pistols should come in normal and left hand variants. The normal version will equip to the pistol holster socket like any other pistol.
There is no regular Shuriken catapult, just the Avenger and Twin-Linked versions.
Couple of quick questions. First, there's a Harlequin voice but I can't find Harlequin armor; is that in the works or is it somewhere and I'm a potato? Second, is there a "normal" shuriken catapult or just the Dire Avengers' version? Third, when I give dudes a two-handed weapon like a shuriken catapult and also a left-hand pistol, they're always holding the pistol even when they're using the SC - is there some workaround or should I just not give them sidearms?
Once again, thank you for this lovely mod.
great work
If using helmets, you’ll want invisible heads in order to avoid clipping. SW Alien Head Pack Extra has one. I think there are other mods that add them as well.
All armor pieces are tintable but there aren’t craftworld-specific pieces except for the Rune Armor leg addons (which as Cael pointed out, the weight painting on these distorts the symbols), Altansar, Biel-Tan, Iyanden, Saim-Hann and Ulthwe are included.
The mod has potential to be great. The issue with the fingers is impressively understated and the animations on things like the shield or off-hand pistol are... jank at best... but I bet this would be up there beside AOTI and Advent Empire if you just had someone willing to do the physics and polish on it.
Great job, but in its current state, its a little too Jank for me. Keep up the good work though!
Thanks, I needed more skill colors myself(got sick of playing with the R/B/G sliders).
Now just need that sound loop fix for the thrown weapons and its golden!
I have no idea why.
This is for both Male and Female heads. I have no hair/skin color mods but I do have face mods and some new hair style mods but they shouldn't be the cause because the heads are stand alone.
Thanks for looking into this, I really want that open helm farseer appearance so far I will just deal with the minor clipping on the human heads but I will miss the pointy ears..
HONOR TO THE TAU!
