(The tutorial below is meant for Special Edition, but it might still work for Skyrim LE and the LE CreationKit. It's super easy and effective, so I thought I'd share it here even though I'm literally a decade late.)

I love this mod and have used it back in the days before modding Special Edition was good. However, due to all the advances in SE modding, I've been updating my modlist for a new SE play-through and I ended up porting this mod manually because I couldn't find a Lydia mod I liked as much! Would it be alright if I posted the SE port of this mod to the Nexus and giving crediting you as creator? I'd love to keep it updated and available for the next generation of players! ( ( : )
The only bug I've experience is when she equips a 1h and shield. Lydia gets stuck in a loop of the draw weapon animation after I draw my own. It happened after exiting one of the mountain passes and continued to happen afterwards. I armed her with a 2h weapon and no bugs so far.
1. Open console (~) and type "prid 000A2C94" and press Enter. This is Lydia's reference ID (RefID) and the command will set her as the target for the next command.
2, Now type "moveto player" and press Enter to move her to your location.
However ...if you've already gotten Lydia, she seems to get stuck at her default level cap of 50. You can fix this using the console by doing the following:
1. Dismiss Lydia from your service.
2. Open console (~) and click on Lydia so she's selected.
3. Type setlevel 1000,0,6,81 and hit enter.
4. Close the console and reopen it. Lydia should still be selected, if not, select her again.
5. Type getlevel to confirm that she's now the same level as you.
Hopefully that works for you, let me know if it doesn't!
