The one in the thumbnail really is a MAC-10. If it was a MAC-11, it'd have an external extractor, but MAC-10s have internal extractors like this one. Also grip to receiver size ratio is different, with MAC-10s have smaller-looking grips in comparison to the body while MAC-11s look a little less dramatic, but the extractor is your best bet in being able to tell

They're not necessarily easy to distinguish unless you are super familiar with the look of them and can see the ejection port clearly to judge the caliber. Also the handle is slightly different.

The Mac in game is actually a 9mm Mac-11. The thumbnail image you used is also a Mac-11.
