This gun looks incredible and I would love to use it, but right now, the recoil animation pushes the gun so far back, that the PO scope looks like it's literally going into your skull. The 2x optic jerks back a lot as well. With iron sights, the top rail looks like it's about to smash your eyes. I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but thought I'd let you know.

the problem is exactly that. the animations of the AK-based weapons work with the original positioning of the rear sights of the AKs. Putting the rear sight at the end of the dust cover, it becomes giant, and it is impossible to see anything when you shoot (you can use my AK-5C mod as an example). So I would prefer to leave it in the original position so there is no problem.

The issue with RPK-16, is that I tried to solve this problem by redoing the iron animations, which was a lot of work and didn't work, probably due to my inability.

What remains for the RPK-16 is to repair the fingers of the left hand.

What's wrong with the rearsight Max? Actually I mean, all AK sights should be the same when viewed down the sights. Except the current issued AK-12(AK-400).

Furthermore, the AK-15's rearsight shouldn't it be at the end of the dust cover and not at the handguard like usual AKs? Or is it the original files from WW3?

I've been trying to launch the RPK16 for some time, but I'm having serious problems with the rear sight and the color difference between the bipod and the rest of the weapon, but it will be out soon.

I posted a print of "GGX", it's the first image now. If it's good, I'll do it on the other mods that haven't received a GGX yet, and I'll do it in the next ones. If not, help me improve: D

- I used the _m texture inside the game and only inverted the layers according to the Phale tutorial. I thought it was good, but my requirements are always too low, tell me if it's good .-.

- I changed the model of foregrip, hopes that solves .-.

Insurgency has a PBR shader you know, it's called SurfaceGGX. You can't just take PBR textures and use them with Source's VertexLitGeneric shader

surfaceggx exists man, you dont even have to do anything to the textures, just put them in the correct channels to form an exponent map and use it

This mod is supposed to be GGX in the first place since World War 3 uses PBR workflow.

Normal maps are missing the alpha channel, so you don't have a specular map on the textures
