The problem with the head not matching the body happens with all unique creation kit npc's of all races and it will also happen if you try and change the looks of an existing npc. Another work around I use is to find a npc that you like the looks of and when you create your new npc you check the box in the bottom left corner (use traits) with the desired npc in the field above. Make sure you increase your npc's base disposition before checking the box, then hit ok and save and reopen your npc's menu. Do not uncheck the use traits box ever or you will have the head change color in the game
I use this method to solve the face textures on my mods. Everyone looks the way you intended them to. If you use this method to fix your face textures you will need to manually add all the extracted texture dds files and meshes into an archive when you upload to steam. Danke :3 also one more thing, how do you get scars or war paint to reappear on chars? I've been trying to get war paint to show up but it doesn't work... 'n I dunno how where I can make scars appear...
