the reason why her ingame name is "NEW ITEM" is because she accidentally used her candy beam on herself instead of cell or something.

An interesting and fun character, to be sure. The sprites on the side-b, side special, whichever, are a bit misaligned, though. I'll give it a thumbs up, hope the sprites get an update.

I believe that the idle animation should be fixed. It looked pretty good to me but let me know. Sorry it took so long to get around to it! (Also slight nerfs in the change notes section)

the idle animation has got to be fixed my guy, i REALLY like this mod and want to play it more but the idle throws me off too much. really excited to see any further development on the character and any future creations from you

but i think that you should of made the sprite sheet for the idle animation better. It's not aligned properly and it causes 21 to bounce back and forth

Thats all great to hear, I think the charater is so much more fun, because the moves are all thought through and work together so nicely.
I agree that finding the right Dspecial isn't going to be easy, especially cause the only source material is Fighterz, but for now a shine is a good placeholder.
Since nobody mentioned it yet and you asked for it in the description, I can tell you back air mostly works the way intended. Sometimes the second hit misses, but that isn't that big of a problem. I don't know if you wanted it to be this way, but you can actually change androids position after the teleport a bit by using smash di. That way you can adjust if the move would miss normally and you can also purposly miss the second attack to mess up your opponent.
Its great to hear that you're still thinking about another update, I would love to see what the character could turn into.

Thanks for your feedback tc.runge. Dair is definitely pretty big haha, and I was gonna fix the size of it, but I figured I'd launch it the way it was just for a bit of fun. Also, I completely agree about Dspecial. In fact, the only reason it is what it is is because it was the very first move I created, and it probably shows haha. I plan to change a couple of things around in a future update, I'm just not completely sure as to what I would change dspecial into. I'll have to take that one to the drawing board! Other than that, I'm glad you like the character so much!

Just a quick update: I haven't dropped making this, I've just been busy and haven't had time to work on her. That being said, there are only five things left to finish; d-tilt, u-special, and all 3 strongs. After that, it's just balancing and hit-box adjustments! Should be finished by this Saturday, or Sunday at the latest. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Oh thank you majofps, I was actually wondering what the best way to size up the images would be, considering that And21 is much bigger in the actual game than she is in this mod. I tested it with her jab, and it improves quality and makes her much more like the size I was going for. Now I just need to rework all the hitboxes haha. :steamsad:

Cool so far! You should reimplement the sprites though, if you resize using by "nearest neighbor" it wouldn't be so blurry and messed up
