It might still function but you are better off not trying it. I havent got the time anymore to update my mods unfortunately, but they are up for grabs if anyone wants to continue them or make their own versions, anyone is allowed to do anything with any part of any mod I made.
The Trading Co. function so far as their own factions. They field armies and use them. No complaints there.
Although the Trading Companies say "This faction does not trade." I was still able to offer trade agreements to both the Dwarven Trading Co. and the Imperial Trading Co. (which they both accepted). I wasn't able to offer trade to the Bretonnian Trading Co.
Although the Imperial Trading Co. has 3 settlements, I still only receive 5 Wood from them.
All in all, this is still a functional mod, so I recommend it for your Marienburg campaign!
Mostly.
It's turn 24 in my test game. So far, and in order, I have created the Dwarven Trading Co., the Bretonnian Trading Co., and the Imperial Trading Co. I have captured 3 settlements for the Imperial Trading Co.
The resource you get from the Trading Co. takes a turn to arrive.
Only the Dwarven Trading Co. is a vassal. Is it a Total War limitation to only have 1 vassal? I don't normally have vassals in my playthroughs.
I do not have many diplomatic options with the other Trading Companies, however our diplomatic relations are very high and we automatically have Military Access pacts. I can still ask them to Declare War, however since they are not my vassals they may accept or decline.
I usually stay away from editing units and so on because it becomes a nightmare when having to update and making it compatible with overhauls and whatnot. As it stands this mod works with pretty much anything ,the second I start using that, that compatibility tanks
For now most are simple Marienburg/empire rosters, but one is a norsca faction, and another is a Dark Elf faction. That is a good idea, but it would take quite a bit to implement due to how unit restrictions and such work, if I want to make them available only to those factions and not empire as a whole. Will see about it.
Thanks for the truly great mod. One question: the factions you add are simple marienburg rooster clones, or do they include some native units? the latter would be awsome for other human lands
Southern Realms Trading Co. has been added for the southern realms area, and it supplies marble.
Got stuck working on a beastman mod, but I was already gathering the data for the thing of also getting resources from each region that has resources thing (https://i.imgur.com/54mJtvt.jpg) before also doing the southern realms addition. Probably gonna work on it after I release the beastmen one in a bit.
been wanting to do a marienburger run since you first made this, but i want to know if i should wait for southern realms trading company or not
This one in particular is incompatible with the others due to the fact that I had to use more factions and some of them are the same used on the other mods. All other mods are compatible with each other, but I cant imagine the AI using the feature correctly, so I would mostly just reccomend using one at a time personally.
