For anyone that is wondering, this works fine with mods, new basegame content, DLC, or anything else that adds items to the game.

It is tag-based, so it gives you a collapsible list of items that are considered "Degradeable" or "Rottable" by the game.

This works in 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 - for Biotech, Anomaly, Odyssey - and will definitely work for 1.7 and 1.8 and 1.9 etc and future DLC or mods.

That's why it hasn't been updated, because it just works.
PearificPear 5 Jan, 2024 @ 5:29pm
@lejkob @SunGod It works fine in 1.4. Have been using it for over a year with no issues.
lejkob 13 Apr, 2023 @ 11:33am
Any hope for 1.4?
SunGod 22 Jan, 2023 @ 4:15pm
+1 for 1.4
Triel 7 Jan, 2023 @ 7:32pm
I sure do hope its like my mod where the version number doesnt matter.
PearificPear 3 Dec, 2022 @ 2:19am
So far I have yet to encounter any problems with this mod in my 1.4 playthrough. about 400mods currently. Stable enough I'd say.
SstarLit56 2 Dec, 2022 @ 7:40pm
1.4 :)
PearificPear 28 Nov, 2022 @ 5:05pm
Agree with what @Dez The Dapper Skaven says. The Filter Manager isn't as easy to use, less intuitive. It was way nicer with the old (this) version. You get the visual feedback immediately, whereas with the other one you don't get any feedback at all after you've created a stockpile.

Both are good, but I personally prefer this one for sure.
Gotaku 29 Oct, 2022 @ 10:25pm
1.4 please
Caramel 27 Oct, 2022 @ 1:41am
1.4 please
Dez The Dapper Bocchi 28 Sep, 2022 @ 12:14am
Something to note, this mod does seem much more mod friendly than the other version as Filter Manager doesn't include all items that are rottable or that deteriorate while this one I have not had issues with that in the past.
Narlindir 6 Sep, 2022 @ 9:57pm
oh I see now Filter manager is also yours
I used both lol
Mayb e add a [Better version available below] Tag or sth
Narlindir 6 Sep, 2022 @ 9:42pm
@Psyra stop what you are doing and start using WeaponStats
I was a spread sheet min maxer like you
with WeaponStats thats shit is a breeze!
Narlindir 6 Sep, 2022 @ 9:41pm
Unfortunately incompatible with Optimization: Meats C#
Cuz it just re adds all the meat types back
bummer
ꌗꉣ꒒ꂦ꓄ 12 Jun, 2022 @ 4:47pm
Does this have the ability to say, dynamically filter textiles by their protection amounts vs. cold and heat? Or would they all have to be individually examined to determine? (by manual inspection through the use of the 'Textile Stats' mod, for example), so I can keep my tailors from making useless parkas out of materials that don't protect from the cold. ;D
Hijack Hornet 28 May, 2022 @ 11:16am
Would you consider adding a slider to filter by spoil time ? Like you can set a job to only make pemmican out of things that are about to go bad (spoil)
Jaxe  [author] 24 May, 2022 @ 11:08am
Everyone, check out my new mod Filter Manager which is a better system of dealing with filters than this mod.
zozilin 19 May, 2022 @ 6:09pm
Is it possbile to have a separate leather toggle for Degradable as well?

With Optimization: Leathers - C# Edition More Filters preserves removed leather types in storage settings and spams errors for modded leather
shane_357 19 May, 2022 @ 5:33pm
Thanks mate.

Updated to v1.7:
- Added mod settings allowing any filter to be disabled
- Fixed categorized resource readout counting
Jaxe  [author] 19 May, 2022 @ 8:13am
Working on an update with options for disabling specific filters
shane_357 19 May, 2022 @ 7:20am
This is borking the categorised resource readout. It's now double-counting meats if they fall into categories. This means if you used the total added-up category of 'meat' to gauge how much food you have, it would be incorrect because it's counting some twice. This really needs mod options.
JustKazuma 18 May, 2022 @ 5:16pm
Latest update produces a flood of meat-related errors when using Optimization:Meats alongside.
Jaxe  [author] 18 May, 2022 @ 10:30am
Updated to v1.6:
- Added filters for Food, Meats and Corpses
Matthew Foley, motvtnl spkr 6 Mar, 2022 @ 5:28am
hi Jaxe! I love your mods! I'm building a scenario and the scenario editor item picker just has a massive wide table of every object alphabetically. Tynan has a few areas with this atrocious table UI. Could your filter improvements be added to other parts of the game? the Scenario editor and debug menu spawner are a few screens that I can think of. Sorry to bother but I wondered if there were already mods or if you might have it on your feature requests. Thanks!
Xurker 4 Sep, 2021 @ 5:23am
is this compatible with "Weapon Storage"? because i like the rottable/degradeable filter but that mod already has weapon sorting
Arcanant 3 Sep, 2021 @ 7:23am
I believe this is just pure xml for vanilla items and doesn't pick up on modded ones, am I correct? Because when I use this with Rottable Body Parts it doesn't add it to the Rottable category.
Senacharim 16 Aug, 2021 @ 6:44am
Thank you for the 1.3 update!

Say, any chance of getting the filter list sorted, and maybe a search bar?
AmekiKyou 29 Jul, 2021 @ 1:39am
Great!

Is there any way possible to make multilevel filters?
In a way like... store stuff matching filter 1. If u dont get it filled, then apply filter 2
pgames-food 25 Oct, 2020 @ 12:12pm
hi i think thats from the more materials mod
but when i tried both there was a limitation (possibly a rimworld limit?) and the lists got truncated when having a lot of mods
Enlonwhite 25 Oct, 2020 @ 8:46am
Anyway to get a filter to store items based on the material it is made from, aka like cloth here, wool shirts here, Devilstrand Dusters here.

Updated to v1.4:
- Added support for RimWorld 1.2
- Removed support for RimWorld 1.0
Wookierudd24 14 Aug, 2020 @ 2:04am
@guia Karmico the mod hasnt been updated since Feb so pretty sure a 1.2 update wont happen... look for a similar mod.. what im doing
Karma Drak 13 Aug, 2020 @ 9:04am

R4skall 15 Jun, 2020 @ 10:51pm

R4skall 15 Jun, 2020 @ 9:37pm

pgames-food 25 Mar, 2020 @ 6:24pm
pgames-food 25 Mar, 2020 @ 6:20pm
hi sythalin, thats what i got too.
if it is a hard limit in rimworld maybe it can be fixed in a future rimworld patch?
The Strongest Tako 25 Mar, 2020 @ 5:02am
Any chance for a fix for not being able to haul wood with Allow Tool also installed?
Sythalin 3 Mar, 2020 @ 2:32pm
Appears the "hard limit" on filters still exists.

Open: Degradable + Rottable

https://i.imgur.com/zfgv9QJ.png

Not sure if this can actually be fixed or not. Easiest solution for end user is just to make sure they're both collapsed before adjusting anything below them.

EDIT: If this is something that can't be fixed, may want to put a disclaimer in the mod description.
ꌗꉣ꒒ꂦ꓄ 2 Mar, 2020 @ 3:17pm
It maaaaaay be a conflict with Allow Tool, but when both this and Allow Tool are enabled, stockpiles set to accept wood ... will not accept wood. Only seems to affect wood, though.
pgames-food 13 Jan, 2020 @ 9:41pm
hi jaxe, i just had a thought...
another user had a similar issue where names would not show below a particular name...
maybe there is some kind of non-standard font or character that has crept in somehow?
for example here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1918589742/1751268269315300706/
Alexel 11 Jan, 2020 @ 11:02pm
Adding to a save game made all items listed twice in filter menus.

For example, when going to the stockpile to forbid "tribal wear", tribal wear is listed twice. This is for every item
pgames-food 24 Nov, 2019 @ 4:52pm
i do have a lot of mods though here is a picture for you in to show the truncation:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1920523681
&
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1920523957

maybe there is a vanilla limit?
pgames-food 24 Nov, 2019 @ 4:45pm
hi jaxe, can i check if there is any known limit for how many items can be shown in a filter?
my lists for rottable and degradable, seem to be getting truncated after a certain amount.

(i'll post a picture for you soon too)
