@nikolabee1612 i usually don't comment but it's probably not working because you don't have loading screen mod to see what your missing for the map to work, which is most likely the roads Robert used which are always a culprit when someone uses Network extensions on a map. So you should use network extensions 2 or Ron which is better in my opinion

Tried it today, it broke. The error message says " Object reference not set to and instance of an object. [System.NULLReferencesException]. Whenever you can fix it pllleasssssse do So i can make the city I love being in!

Map works just fine for me when you get all the dependencies. Having NExt2 as one isn't great but I replaced all the networks, got rid of NExt2 and it still looks good!

Is this map worth downloading :)
Robert  [author] 8 Apr, 2021 @ 2:18am
Map works fine for me. If you are having issues with it I recommend unsubscribing. There will be no update. :)

The link to the map overlay doesn't seem to work anymore.

Here's a backup copy. [imgur.com]

I'm certain I played this map only 4 to 6 weeks ago, without any issues. But I didn't buy sunset harbour (I did download the patch/free content that came out when it was released, though). I just wanted to say thanks to the creator, it was a really enjoyable map to play on, and I particularly appreciated all the effort you put into the highways and railroads.

If you get time, please fix or update this map :)
Sint Holo 17 May, 2020 @ 5:22am
I don't know what on earth you did to this map, but it's completely broken even in the screenshots. Shouldn't be on the workshop.
Tonk 7 May, 2020 @ 7:22pm
Map is broken
AzOdnem 11 Apr, 2020 @ 11:30pm
This map might be broken I guess
muoio80.sm 11 Apr, 2020 @ 8:58pm
The map will not load. I am getting an error what others are saying.
AzOdnem 17 Mar, 2020 @ 8:21pm
I am getting an error "simulation failed" when i first open the map? Is there a fix to this? Thanks!
Entropizzazz 30 Jan, 2020 @ 3:10pm
I love this! Thanks for all your work. Currently building out Watson's Bay and Vaucluse. Doing the whole map relatively accurately will likely keep me busy for years lol
jackson.baker13 15 Jan, 2020 @ 1:47pm
Hey robert, when i open the map for the first time, it comes up with a error.

Which Themen Map is the best one for the map
Robert  [author] 10 Dec, 2019 @ 4:15am
Probably!

Great map. However, I feel like the road gradients cam be better, especially highways.
Robert  [author] 27 Nov, 2019 @ 2:29am
No need to do that, thanks - I left a comment on the vid mentioning it, all good. I don't want to seem pedantic about it, at the end of the day there's plenty of rushed bits. I don't begrudge the score. 😄

I think for a 1-1 map: you did very well. The roads are too big in this game to create a 1-1 map.

I am on his Patreon - so I will forward your remark about Fine Road Anarchy 1 and 2. So he can have a look at it.

I'm glad you liked the video --- and you do get 5 stars for the best truck acrobatics! ;-) ;-)
Robert  [author] 27 Nov, 2019 @ 1:39am
I loved it! Got me dead to rights on some of the glitches.. although I think he may be using fine road anarchy 1 instead of 2, some of the ones he noted don't look quite as bad on my end. Either way, I appreciated the feedback. 😄

Hello Robert, your map was reviewed by BonBonB on youtube. I hope you like the video :-)

That does not say that the government has revealed a plan, friend. That's just architects talking shit about what could be cool. Ain't a plan, ain't a schedule, ain't nothing. Cahill Expressway isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Government has requested proposals for overhauling/modernising the wharves, though.
snowflitzer 21 Nov, 2019 @ 12:30pm
Last week the government revealed a plan of the revamps of Circular Quay. More parks and removing the train station and highway. There would be an underground train station.

Trying to find the article and picture
Robert  [author] 21 Nov, 2019 @ 12:23pm
"get rid of the above rail"? What does that mean?
snowflitzer 21 Nov, 2019 @ 12:20pm
and yes Circular Quay - Couldn't find the double trams yet :)

That said you know they want to get rid of the above rail :)
snowflitzer 21 Nov, 2019 @ 12:17pm
Great work, love it. Especially since you included Manly :) :)
Robert  [author] 20 Nov, 2019 @ 5:31am
funny you mention bottomless list, circular quay station (including the wharves) is currently scheduled for *checks notes* September 2020. Lol
burgerfeld 20 Nov, 2019 @ 12:46am
a suggestion for a future asset that would compliment this map would be Circular Quay station, i struggle to find elevated stations that will fit an 8 car train. add it to the bottomless pile of things to make for sydney lol
Robert  [author] 18 Nov, 2019 @ 12:40am
Parramatta is another 6km west of the edge, but I get what you mean 😋
Grubba 18 Nov, 2019 @ 12:20am
Almost west enough to reach parramatta :steamhappy:
Teddy Radko 17 Nov, 2019 @ 11:02pm
Beautiful work!
Robert  [author] 17 Nov, 2019 @ 8:41pm
Clus's roads are really great. I used the harbour bridge roads for the western mainly because of how narrow they are, but they definitely struggle with smooth slopes, and transitions to tunnels. Most of the western distributor included here was exported with moveit from a save on my V2 map and adjusted for scale, before the concrete roads came out, so I left it as is :)
burgerfeld 17 Nov, 2019 @ 8:29pm
excellent job

i found the harbour bridge road to be unsuitable for the western distributor and i've used the concrete roads. But its really a great shot at modelling sydney. just like you said, can't win them all and this compromise gets the best of everything.

i look forward to recreating bondi only to nuke it. i hate bondi
themadsewer 17 Nov, 2019 @ 2:28pm
I'm really impressed by this, Robert! I'm loving your attention to detail in many of the features of Sydney's infrastructure and identity (ie. LOVE the VIVID decals!) and I'm now thinking of making this my third project! Thanks?
Robert  [author] 17 Nov, 2019 @ 3:35am
You always sacrifice something, in this case what I was sad to see shaved was the freight yards in Enfield, and the parcel distribution centre at Chullora. Nothing stopping me moving them a few km east, but still. This was mostly driven by the desire to include port botany and the airport, even if they're right near the edge.
Robert  [author] 17 Nov, 2019 @ 3:27am
I'd say it mostly depends on whether you want to do the airport and port botany tbh. The rest is all pretty much the same kind of territory. Rail-wise it goes as far west as strathfield, beverly hills, belmore.

If you do, do what I'm planning to do, which is use Move It to export big chunks of stuff. That's how I ported a lot of the distributor networks into this map. However, outside the 'lens', the CBD area (last image in the gallery) it will obviously not be the same size, so you'd need to adjust things. But yeah the Move It export tool was a huge timesaver.

I don’t know if I should start a new build with this map or continue on the old map. :I
AJ1304 17 Nov, 2019 @ 1:45am
looking forward to watching all my buses get stuck trying to get off the harbour bridge just like real life. Great work as always
