hey i like your mod and i've been using it for a while, i noticed that sometimes when you aim at a group of zombies you don't always hit your outlined target, you end up shooting someone else behind it, is there a way you can fix this?, i tried this with only your mod enabled so no other mod is causing a conflict

Well, this file doesent work on new version probably, so i deleted it. Now mod doesen't spawn additional clips and ammo. But all weapons changes still works.

It compatiable with almost anything cause it only changes some numbers via scripts, no file replacements. Each weapon has it's own parameters so this mod affects only vanilla guns.

I was actually wondering if this mod is compatible with modded weapons as well, or if there is a way to get that to work if that's not the case? It would be understandable if it only affects vanilla firearms as advertised.

There ase no loading bugs, mod just changes some numbers for guns.

Let me know when the loading bugs are fixed and I'll def give this a try. Wish the lower noise thing was connected to a suppressor attachment though rather than built-in, but there just doesn't seem to be such a thing as a perfect gun mod for zomboid.

I like this mod, the spawn ammo is amazing, but the sound radius is very small and the player has no consequences in using a firearm, it's unfair.

Why is M1911 quieter than 9mm? .45 ACP is larger than 9*19. Could you please fix it? Thanks.

None of these guns use CLIPS , they use MAGAZINES.

My mod solves the problem of unable to load. 308 bullets and .223 bullets, and the power of Double Barrel Shotgun is more real,And the sound is less.:steamhappy:

This is the part that increases the “count” value of the ammo box, but it conflicts with other mods that contain ammo packaging elements.
Specifically, the number of ammo at the time of opening is greatly increased by the value of “count”.
It actually occurs in "Simple Firearms Conversion" etc.

Just so you know mojucy in real life a desert eagle 44 is much louder than a 9mm, and a 45 is quieter than a 9mm as it does not break the sound barrier.

I like the idea a lot but I think it's way too easy. Plus a DE wouldnt be as loud as a 9mm and a 1911 which is a .45 woulnt be quieter than a 9mm. Not hating, I get this has a purpose for those who just wanna have fun with guns. I would check this out with a few adjustments myself tho. Thanks for the addition to the community! Looks cool

Just wanted to let you know im not sure if it was last update but your mod breaks the .308 and.223 magazines so they don't work since there clip size was reduced to 3 bullets each and your mod makes them still 20 and 10 bullets each.

I don't know, never tried. I do not plan to change anything in the mod, but anyone can use the source code however they want.

Do you think it could be possible to increase the fire rate of certain guns like the supposedly "automatic rifle" which shoots slower than a semi-automatic handgun for whatever reason

i think this and tweaked katsunes crossbow mod have a conflict. This drops more ammo and clips, the other has crossbows spawn in after 2 weeks. I think the crossbow swapped loot tables and i don't find ammo anymore.

Just realized the M14 has already been fixed, oops. Having the STANAG magazines made compatible with .223 would still be great if you could manage it.

Hefty request but: Could you make .223 compatible with the 5.56 mags for the M16A2, at the cost of giving it a higher likelihood of it malfunctioning (due to potential underpressure causing a shortstroke) and lower damage? ALSO, could we see the M14 given its proper 7.62 NATO chambering (7.62 only spawning in military armory loot spawns), with iffy .308 compatibility? An easier solution to the "incorrect M14" thing could also be to tweak it a bit to put it in line with the Ruger Mini-14 (hopefully with similar .223 """compatibility""").

Have you tried? Without skill you need 3-4-5 shots with 9mm pistol to kill zombi and range is just 8 tiles.

In vanilla only shotguns is decent and for them accuaracy already was 70%, i just want some justice for pistols/revolvers.

I just want to thank you for all your hard work. Now when i work at home i again can found more time to play game. And i finaly test version you send me few mounths back with no ammo change, it work perfect! You have no idea how much joy your work give me unicorn for you man!

Developers changed M14, now it uses M14Clip, magazines from M16 won't fit.

Updated the mod:
# Added M14Clip to spawn in Gun Stores (West Point, etc.)
# Removed M16 splash (hit 2 targets like shotgun), increased ammo spawn 50%. Decreased accuracy to 60% + 5% * aimLevel, now need level 4 aim skill to shoot as before.

M14 wont accept magazines using this mod. Works great otherwise.

.308 magazine for Hunting rifle. M16 works like assault rifle, i played with it, pew-pew-pew. If you have problems with M16 it's probably some other mods.

I changed only range, sound radius, accuracy, jam chance, weight, durability and aiming time:

5.56 ammo is very rare, should be op i think. And against slow zombies anything is op.

Did you check Westpoint gun store? There is always some.

Also you can increase ammo spawn in Sandbox oprtions, it's quite low by default.

5.56mm is rare ammo and can be found some times in police stations and always in gun stores.

I checked, it's spawning now.

Place thit folder to path, where USER_NAME is you user name in windows, and C: is disk with Windows:
C:\Users\USER_NAME\Zomboid\Workshop

Sorry my bad.... I dint sow i had mode swich off after reinstalation of game heh. BTW can you make vrsion that do not change ammo weight? Sorry one more time for truble. Mode work perfectly fine.
