Zeker is a nightmare. had to run away from many dungeon half way after encountering it. the grind is really really harder with this mod. paired with sister it made my blight team way less consistent

Holy shit just had 2 cultist bloodzerkers take 4 turns each, critting every time, and kill the entire squad... bruh. Please balance this my friend, I'll unsubscribe and keep an eye on it till then...

ah so im not insane, the berserker is BS; first fight on veteran: leader, zerker and summoner, killed the summoner first turn, berserker gets like 5 actions and kills one of my guys from full hp

Its definitely awesome in concept and some of the enemies are really cool mechanically, but its just so unbalanced. Why does the berserker get like 4 turns in a row? Why do they have so much hp compared to other enemies of the same level?

Just ran into 2 cultist berserker, both took 4 turns in one, while attacking 2/3 heroes 3 of their 4 turns (critting on half of them), the 3rd turn being the only one they didn't attack but instead healed and buff themselves. Again, that was in 1 round.

Installed this mod, forgot i did. Ran a yellow dungeon with new lvl 3 party, Party wipe on first encounter thanks to cultist summoning a fleshy gargoyle demon thing. Would recommend.

Good mod, maybe it's just me but the spawn rate is actually pretty good, in every run i encounter one of two groups with those guys.

The spawn rates are very high. Sometimes, specially in the Weald, I only encounter them.

I feel like Cultist Berzerker is a bit too much. Too many actions per turn, everytime I see one I know I must kill him without even letting him do his stuff...

Those Berzerkers gets infinite turns, a bit too annoying for my own taste, but otherwise, I like every other monsters :cleandino:

God Damn the Berzerker! That guy really needs a nerf!
High crit, high damage, moderate HP, multi target, random extra turn, and self heal continued by guaranteed extra turn; for a single monster!
It just made two of my full HP party members to death's door, and killed another one only within 2 turns despite I've focused on it!
Of course the monsters are very harsh in Bloodmoon level, but still no other monsters really leave that crazy casualties except the spear throwing pig. This guy surely is OP and it needs some nerf I believe.
Other than that, it's pretty well balanced and a bit challenging than the vanilla, just as your other monster mods that I'm also enjoying. Thank you for the great mods. I'm really looking forward to Weald's extra monsters if you have any plan.

I have to admit your mod is really enjoyable only in lvl 5 -6 dungeons. Annything below is way too punitive for a lvl 0-4 comp.

Well still it's good to have you back. I'm sure you've gotten asked this a dozen times already so I apologize in advance, but are you focused on bringing new stuff to the table or do you think you're going to set aside some time to polish up and update some of your older stuff too?

I too, dream of that one day of finishing the full Tales *Look sadly at far away distance....*

Current goal is to finish up some more universal monsters, before going back to Weald by next year, then can enjoy that sweet retirement~

It's been literally years since I first started playing Monstrous Tales from the Forbidden Dark.

All these years I've waited and thought: How long until the collection is "complete" and we get a Weald enemies pack?

Nowdays, "complete" also means new Bloodsuckers, new Husks, and new Snakes.
I really hope this return to the modding scene means we'll eventually get to complete the Tales and get new monsters for every single area.

@Notorious Wolf: You must have a bad roll :)
Double zerker don't appear as often. Its multi attack and initive gain are chance based. They could be devastating if they have a string of good roll, so don't let them stay alive too long.

Enjoying the extra challenge of these enemies but Berzerkers feel a tad overpowered with their high damage and ability to refresh their turn with two different abilities and then also nuke with multi hit attacks. Getting two of them at once can be very punishing in a level 1 dungeon. I feel like having both bloodboil and their attack giving them extra actions is a little much, maybe just reduce it to just bloodboil giving an extra action or adjust it so two don't spawn together in level 1 dungeons but leave it fair game for level 3 and 5 dungeons?

while i love the mod in general, the leader is pretty unbalanced. i mean, 30 health on dungeon lvl1, target heal, target protect and counter? the target heal is a bit much in my opinion
