As one of the comments already stated, you might want to make the water insta-death. I accidentally fell in the water once and had no way to get out of there. Aside from that, it's not bad.

Will you be making a n Update for the other parts of Big Shell that aren't present here? Be cool to see Shell 2 and the 6 other Struts from MGS2. Regardless this map is pretty sweet and I hope you continue.

You absolutely should aress the water-prison issue, since bots that fall down there won't even respawn, so they're effectively out of the fight, period.

You could place an invisible death wall just above the water. no need to change the water per se, simply, if you drop below the walkways you instantly die and ragdoll.

beyond this one issue? this is easily one of my favorite maps. nostalgia alone is insane, but the level design itself is also great. aestheticaly pleasing, optimized with good FPS, plenty of cover, CQB and corridor shooting... I just love this to bits.

Hmmm that's a shame, perhaps... you could download another map with such a kill zone, and rebuild/copy paste the map there, but that sounds like a stretch even for my dumbass

you can make the water be a death zone, that would fix the problem of bots getting stuck in the water :)

Sadly it is not @GreenOracle. I've spent hours trying to fix this problem in various ways. The short answer is that there's now way to stop the bots from getting stuck without either changing the layout of the map DRASTICALLY, or placing ladders, which cause the bots that AREN'T stuck in the water to try to climb down into it for some reason. If the editor is ever updated with a reasonable way I can fix this, I will definitely update the map.

This is a delightful map! My only complaint is that every match seems to end with many bots stuck in the water with no way to get out. Would it be possible to make the ocean a killbox instead of a water prison?

This map is really innovative, I've never seen vents you can crawl in before. I hope other mapmakers take inspiration from this.

I've updated the map to version 1.1, which now has subtle changes to the positioning of the gas container and shortening of the fencing on the South side of the center of Strut D - this should allow you to enter Prone and crawl out of the gas container when spawning in Strut D during Spec Ops game mode. @HighOnCS Ah, this is an issue with the Spec Ops game mode. It completely ignores actual spawn points and instead spawns the player on the actual location of the flag, which is inside the gas container in that strut. I had actually discovered this exact issue at some point during my testing, but I realize now I forgot to fix it before release. Sorry about that - I will try to take a look at fixing this without changing too much of the layout of the strut.

Dude this is awesome. You've got a lot more patience than I do for this sort of thing. I've made a couple map editor maps, but they only took 2-4 days or so. This is super cool.
