can you make a mod that makes stuff make logs and all of that faster?
PwincessTwiwee 6 Jul @ 8:35pm
I don't believe this mod is working correctly still, it reports that production is x2 base, but the output is still 1x - IE, Lumber mill should be putting out 800, is putting out 400 and the bar stays at half and never puts out the x2 total ammount even when there is stations and vehicles waiting en queue
nordstern 9 Sep, 2024 @ 4:12am
It still works fine.
PANDA 27 May, 2023 @ 9:50am
It used to work, but now something stopped working, even reinstall the game, and did not help

I've subscribed to this mod (also 'Production X4), they do not show on my subscribed mods list. Have you any idea why this is (not) happening?

Yes there is a problem with this mod and the other production mods they all have problems when you speed up time the trains and wagons all just don't move right it only starts when you speed up the game then it doesn't go away when you slow the game down. i tried the 2x.4x.10x versions
they all have the same problem
Moth 15 Aug, 2021 @ 4:22am
it's the same for all the industries, they NEVER get up to full production, only half
Moth 15 Aug, 2021 @ 4:22am
when i use one logging station it produces 800, but when i use two logging stations is goes down to 400 each, this is annoying and i am thinking of getting rid of this mod as it appears to be useless

I never knew I needed this mod until now. I use the Goods Conglomerate mod and tried it with the X4 version of this mod and WOW! enabled the mod loaded my save game, deleted the Goods Con I had already placed and then put a new one down and boom. trying this X2 version to see if it's exactly what I need otherwise I'll use the X4 version instead.

Awesome mod :)

Since i always had to chain some industries of the same kind together just to have a high enough production, i realy like this mod to avoid this! But i have an issue where (in this case an oilrefinery) is produceing 400 units, but only wants to output 200 at max. Even tho the cities that are connected wont get enougth fuel. And since the middle bar (indicating the output) of the factorymeniu is staying at half, it wont upgrade. Is there a way to fix this? (my english is bad btw)

Loving the mod! Can finally create lines that get heavy usage and build any missing industries.
I think there's an error with Coal and Iron mine output though as it shows 2400 and 1600 is all that is required.
harderwijkoever53 4 Dec, 2020 @ 5:05am
After a while it seems this MOD is stopping to work as my stations are left empty and no new products appear, or very limited.
skunkpuppy 22 May, 2020 @ 9:03am
If production is doubled, to preserve the same ratio (4 Farms=1 Bakery), should each Farm produce 400 (total 1600) as the Bakery produces 800 bread (requires 1600 grain)?
birkedahl 8 Apr, 2020 @ 5:32am
Ah ok. ;) I thought you meant that you could build industries without this mod. Thank you.
Frost  [author] 8 Apr, 2020 @ 2:54am
@birkedahl This mod unlocked "industry button". You should see it at lower right corner of your screen.
birkedahl 8 Apr, 2020 @ 12:39am
@Frost How do I build industries without sandbox?
Vrost 5 Jan, 2020 @ 12:28pm
@frost thank you very much!
Frost  [author] 5 Jan, 2020 @ 12:26pm
@Vrost Sandbox mode is only required for demolishing industries, you can still build industries without sandbox mode.
It is safe to deactivate the sandbox mode in saved games.
Vrost 5 Jan, 2020 @ 11:42am
hi there,
i just downloaded the mod after i sadly saw that the industries outcome is way to less to support more cities.
I know its activated by creating a new industry, so if i activate sandbox mode, and place some industries, can i deactivate the sandbox mode to return to "franchise" mode?

Thank you

Thank you @Frost
Frost  [author] 30 Dec, 2019 @ 5:09am
@Latino You have to activate "Sandbox Mode" in order to demolish industries. Just use official "Sandbox Mode" MOD then you can demolish them.

Is it possible to add a bulldoze industry botton?
I would use it in my saved game but I would like to bulldoze the already exiting industry first, so it doesn't take up so much space
Frost  [author] 20 Dec, 2019 @ 12:01pm
@nanjoutai I know scripting is better than direct editing, but unfortunately I'm not good at Lua. I did check some similar Mods of TPF and their creator just edited the con files too. So I think this might be impossible?
The biggest problem right now is raw industries only have 1 level. Whether the output is 800 or 1600 is way too high at the beginning of the game. I was trying to add more levels to them but it causes some random crashes.
Talok 14 Dec, 2019 @ 9:42pm
Ahh o ty. Doesn't seem to be causing any problems thus far.
jbturf69 14 Dec, 2019 @ 9:26pm
much needed mod. as the original developers cant do simple math. supply and demand was messed up on TF as well.
Frost  [author] 13 Dec, 2019 @ 12:19pm
@Talok The mod changes base file which the game used to generate industries, so it thinks the mod would cause crash. But according to my tests, it is safe to use this mod in saved games.
Talok 13 Dec, 2019 @ 12:03pm
The TF2 mod loader telling me this will cause crashes. What's that all about? Is this mod safeto use without crashing?
The Hound 13 Dec, 2019 @ 11:59am
Ah, ok. Thx for the clarification.
Frost  [author] 13 Dec, 2019 @ 11:40am
@Fubar NO, it just because the .con files become bigger in TPF2. In TPF the files are 80kb at most, now they are 500kb.
The Hound 13 Dec, 2019 @ 11:23am
Nice mod, thx.
Are those standalone buildings? I am a bit confused concerning the file size of nearly 9 MB.
Suzumiya 13 Dec, 2019 @ 11:03am
God Bless you :D
