It is SFO compatible. (see people asking)

It would be nice to have lower value like 1 for cumulative penalties or have a cap on it. Right now the non-cumulative feels too small, while cumulative feels too much.

Hi I have an idea that I think fit into this mod. Say as High Elf I don't really want to settle the frozen tundra of Naggarond therefore sometimes I'd liberate some Dark Elf factions there. The base aversion between us is only -60 and the liberation bonus is +120 which could have helped me maintain a friendly relationship with them. However one turn after I realized that our relationship dropped from a healthy green to like -300 because they really hate me for being friends with... Reikland and Last Defenders? They are literally on other continents. Is there a way you can make that kind of long distance opinions? less severe? I'd say 10% of its current value should be enough. That should make diplomacy much more viable.

Great mod! Have you thought about making a version for Warhammer III once Immortal Empires comes out? This mod is a must for me and I'd love to see it return in the future.

Correct. It's a huge amount of work updating all the regions and who should own them. Supporting both campaigns was just too much work.

defiantly one of my must haves. a couple of ideas for Regional Conflicts: 1. the shrine of khaine disputed by all elf factions as none would trust any other with the sword, and 2. the black pyramid who all the tomb kings (and maybe some vampires) want

Why in the world I see Eataine having 50 "ruler tolerance" toward Cult of Pleasure when they have taken Avelorn and some other ulthuan provinces?

I feel something isn't right, maybe there's negative penalty but the positive overcomes the negative.

Ekrund? Yes.
Ekrund is a fallen Dwarf hold. During -1498 IC by Warhammer 1st Edison.
Then the hold be taken by disgusted high elf so you get -400 prejudice LOL.

Oh I think I see the problem now. Ekrund, the capitol of Western Badlands is a Dwarven hold...? Is that intended?

Hey there, HE player here and I have used your mod before and really loved it. However in my current Eltharion playthrough, all the Dwarf factions have like -400 prejudice against me even when all the territories I captured in the region are Southern & Western badlands. This is making diplomacy with them impossible even though as I am slaughtering the Greenskins in the thousands for them.

loving idea of this mod, going to give a try especially as I'm into late game expansion and the old great power pen making it a wee bit too predictable haha

For conflicted regions I do have a suggestion, bit of a weird one but Karaz-a-Karak.
HE, (maybe DE too, but only naggarond/malekith), as got the war of the beards and as a result the phoenix crown rests in the dwarven loot hoards there. IE, like I'm just getting through the Empire now after the chaos invasion, but would make sense as Malekith, after already taking Ulthuan, that's my ultimate goal in old world, last thing blocking Malekith from "legit" rule of "his" lands lol

Thanks putting in the effort to deliver this. A lot of mods I considered must-haves for my experience stopped being updated over a year ago. Having a great power removal just makes the experience better.

Hi! Using your mod, I don't have any mod-related penalties.
Added mid-game, your mod removed Great Power, but did not replace it with any penalties. After several turns afterwards, none appeared. Playing as Oxyotl on Vortex.

What a creative good way of working the diplomacy. Assuming it works as explained, I am excited to see a system that gives a more sensible version of diplomacy. In my mind I always explained away strange diplomatic twists of diplomacy as substories I was not seeing. So and so kidnapped the emperor's cousin's daughter causing a war . . . Not very satisfying having to guess at why I am at war with everybody!

thank you so much for this mod. it makes diplomacy so much better. I noticed a Glitch though. as Reikland when I take over bretonnian territories, I get No diplomacy penalties with the dukes. neither the cultural penalty nor territorial

I realized that the AI won't get the difference of factions that have a different starting position only when the player choses to play as them.

For example when I start a game as Grom, I will receive all region/culture penalties from the High Elves like if I were the AI Grom who's normally located over there.
The Bretonnia AI on the other hand has not the slightest problem with me starting in the middle of their beloved homeland.

Is there a way to fix it so the penalties get applied correctly for startpos-shifting factions?
