This mod was amazing for W2, I wonder how difficult it would be to get something similar for Warhammer 3

Like, if High Elves took over a dwarf hold I don't think they would tear the entire hold down to build their little elven village, but they'd build a settlement by the base of the hold... and if some humans conquer a Tomb Kings or Lizardmen settlement, they wouldn't tear down the entire fracking pyramid, but rather build a settlement around it. That's why I loved how this mod made settlement buildings overlap in WH2, to be clear. It helps build a narrative in the campaign. It was awesome, and should honestly be in the base game.

Again, please pretty please with warpstone sprinkles on top, remake this for WH3 ._.
Folke 30 Aug, 2022 @ 12:43am
Hey mr. Fulltimely Job, I REALLY need you or someone to remake this for WH3 Immortal Empires :'( I love how the buildings were overlapping btw... And I really miss it. By Grungni, how I miss it.
👻GypsyBastard 16 Aug, 2022 @ 12:48pm
Any chance see someone make this in WarhammerIII ???

update need
Hmm 🤔 26 Dec, 2021 @ 4:53am
hate how the building are overlapping, it should just be your faction settlement skin.

I think I found a bug. Its very specific though. When recruiting Azhag in Ekrund it spawns him under the city. So you cant use him for anything. You can't even disband him coz even the lord details menu won't even open. I tried recruiting other generic lords there and it works so it might have something to do with his mount?

It truly is a shame that overlapping graphics is the closest we can get to what should honestly be a default feature.

Hi ! Thank you for your work, but could we get an update please ? :)
I_Hurt_People 4 Jun, 2021 @ 2:20pm
I know your just the update guy, but anychance you know how i would go about making the opposite of this mod? Basically i dont like how ruins look, and just want them to stay the same, so that my skaven dont have to live in jenky ruins lol.
Radetzky 11 May, 2021 @ 12:45pm
Man I like your mod, its very immersive but it has some bugs/glitchs, for example for settlements like Karak Raziak, it modifies the original one with a bigger dwarf fortress (if ocuppied by orcs) but its placement its weird, its front is looking towards the mountain(vulcano) and I have to turn the camera otherwise it would look buggy and kinda dumb (looking at the back of the building)

update ? :)
Marcus Aurelius 11 Jan, 2021 @ 7:43pm
I remember a mod that just adds a small settlement of the faction you are playing with inside the settlement you conquered. Is it some version of this one, I tried and all are big settlements on top of the old small one
sirmicou85 20 Dec, 2020 @ 12:45am
Hello ! Could we get an update please ? :D
Nope 10 Dec, 2020 @ 11:06am

update in the works?
지구연합 4 Dec, 2020 @ 8:46pm
Please update... thank you
Ramyam 27 Nov, 2020 @ 5:05pm
all the minor settlements become too big.. the original mod that did this didn't make all conquered settlements look like capitals.. I'd prefer the smaller even if the original settlement is still seen below, in my mind it's the stuff build ontop of the old anyway.
IceD 21 Sep, 2020 @ 5:54pm
is it possible to remove original city (not just place new buildings over old, it looks messy)
smitty 14 Sep, 2020 @ 3:32pm
I love this mod. Reminds me of med 2 city mechanics, where whomever developed the region also placed the building culture/appearance. Now I can have Bretonnian cities in my crusading locations, vampire keeps all over the vampire coast, Imperial cities across the northern wastes as I slowly evict their norscan overlords. Great, great mod.
StormRend 29 Jul, 2020 @ 5:04am
does this effect battle maps or is it just overworld?
JEB2070 6 Jul, 2020 @ 11:23am
do i need larger buildings in order to this mod to work?
Pedro Paulo 6 Jul, 2020 @ 9:01am
Hey Glenn Cross

I agree with you about bringing back the Wood Elves Corruption - "Forest Mist" mod.

I used to love a lot this one...
Ciaphas Cain 3 Jul, 2020 @ 2:10pm
Oh wow, previous comment. I never seen that in Warhammer 1!
Gleen Cross 1 Jun, 2020 @ 3:16pm
This mod still works, visual mods rarelly needs updates... but anyway, a request for the author: can you port/adapt a wood elf outpost mod from warhammer 1 into warhammer 2? It was made by kelstr: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=821171778 It seems he doesn't have the time anymore to keep modding, maybe you can give it a shot?

Thumbsup!
Kashak 25 May, 2020 @ 4:14pm
@Vanu, feel free to make your own , better, version. I would sub!
Vanu 25 May, 2020 @ 10:45am
It makes no sense for the Eagle gates around Ulthuan to just have towers built around it, given that defeats the purpose of it being a gate. The images in the mod display show the eagle gate b eing usurped by towers.

Could you be a bit more realistic with this instead?

@Dark Chocolate Lover

dont worry, its still works even if not updated
DarkChocLover 25 May, 2020 @ 5:12am
Hello the update date on this mod has not changed still showing as 29/12/20?
Guts 23 May, 2020 @ 4:51pm
There's something really special about seeing pristine marble halls slowly cover the otherwise foul wasteland that greenskins call home.
Mr. Totally War  [author] 22 May, 2020 @ 2:24am
no problem :steamhappy:
Majo 22 May, 2020 @ 2:17am
Wow legend, I was hoping for exactly that. Thanks so much.
Mr. Totally War  [author] 22 May, 2020 @ 2:14am
yup if you prefer the original but updated, see my other workshop item
there are version for people who prefer original mod
Majo 22 May, 2020 @ 2:11am
Oh, so they're different?
Mr. Totally War  [author] 22 May, 2020 @ 2:09am
@Mayo

the original also like this, also we both use the same method but different models for it
Majo 22 May, 2020 @ 2:08am
I think that might be what Titfortat is referring to.
Majo 22 May, 2020 @ 2:07am
I don't remember the original skins looking like these. Like the vampire towers clipping into the tomb kings pyramids in the screenshots, basically mashed together. Did the original have this or was it added?

Just asking because I liked the original's simplicity in that it just had more decorations on the settlement. Or atleast, I didn't notice if it actually mashed the buildings together like that.
Mr. Totally War  [author] 22 May, 2020 @ 12:10am
no need to update but updated the title to know people this mod working on newest patch
enjoy...
Mr. Totally War  [author] 18 May, 2020 @ 9:00am
@Titfortat at current my modding ability I am afraid that's impossible for me but hey, its really cool idea though.
Titfortat 17 May, 2020 @ 6:24am
Just a suggestion and I don't know if it's possible, but would it be possible to change the second layer per settlement to an own model?

Basically a two-step idea:
The second layer only consists of decorations that reflect your faction. Like banners, totems, etc.

Second step: Keep the original settlements, but add decorations according to the primary settlement culture.

For example: If you are playing Greenskins and conquer a (originally) bretonnian settlement, it adds a second layer with masks, totems, dung, mushrooms, etc.

That way the models won't overlap and create strange settlements.
Enginseer89 16 May, 2020 @ 11:01am
Thank you
Vidmeister 6 May, 2020 @ 6:34am
@Neferata13 Thais is literally what this mod does. It combines the 2 cities so you have the original + the new cultural city skin on top of another.
Ciaphas Cain 5 Apr, 2020 @ 3:45pm
I'm playing using SFO and have noticed that when Mannfred is sent to the badlands to where Nagash's Pyramid is, any settlement owned by VC is of the same culture but has a TK centre to it (stone beige coloured building) it's not a huge problem but it's kinder annoying
