Pax and freight can't be loaded from the same platform without sacrificing the length of said platform. (Or possibly at all, I haven't really tried it).
If this was written to be loaded from Pax stations it would be amazing. Currently, its just an excuse to run dedicated parcels trains without needing Consumer Goods.
Is there some option to turn that setting off, or set how high it should be?
*** THIS MOD IS UNIQUE IN THAT YOU CAN NO LONGER BUILD YOUR TOWNS LIKE YOU'RE USED TO ***
Regular goods stops only support dropping off goods, and this mod is designed around the idea that city buildings now generate goods. This means you WILL HAVE TO place goods terminals around your city to cover your residential, commercial and industrial zones. This is different from all other goods!
The mod works. Here's an FAQ and instruction on how to work with it. I will gradually expand this doc with screenshots and link to it periodically here to keep it up top:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZK9A7DYd_Ih4Yoj0Nz3mG9IoaipeKmliK7AHkiIKYUk/edit?usp=sharing
There's a separate problem in that, while I love Transport Fever 2 and the work Urban Games has done, their support for the modding community is, well, terrible. It's essentially non-existent, which has lead modders to just leave (I have, and I created the USA map).
The ball is in Urban Games' court and they seem to just care about getting it running on Xbox. So, I would count on not seeing that mod.
Secondly, you need to plan the trucking route carefully, because truck can only pickup 1 type of resources or product (not sure if any mods will help), which means for example, if there is food in your truck delivery, they will not pickup mail at the truck station unless the truck is fully empty, even there is 1/xx product in your truck, they won't pickup, so you better create a dedicated line to pickup the mail and another line to pickup waste
In my reasoning then it’s pointless showing buildings having the sorted mail icon if they cannot receive sorted mail. I would have thought that post trucks could pick up both and distribute sorted mail to other places around the city as in real life.
I guess I'm just not trying hard enough
I don't remeber exactly this mod, but it should work in a similar way.
You might have a conflict between 2 mods, if this mod seems to be breaking your game.
- Hush
like it was in TransportFever 1, with some mods.
The link in your post is blocked as being malicious ... even though it's a SteamCommunity link. To get around this crazy error, you need to have a space both directly before and after the URL.
There is also in the pictures a schematic explanation of this "mail and waste" mod.
