Please add 2 factions :Cataph's Kraka Drak: the Norse Dwarfs and OVN:Blood Dragon.
These 2 factions are not included in this one.

No, it's no bother, you were right. It had been so long since I really dug into this one that I forgot the WH2 beginning races' portraits (or elves at least) were in another folder. And I assume because of the unique DLC for a WH1 DLC race they had to hide Taurox in yet another folder. I think I got it all now.

@romavictor I'm sorry to bother you, I didn't had the chance to test the updated version until now because of work, but I'm having a strange problem with this version, for whatever reason there seems to be a bug where some lords still have the HN Banners showing while others are working as intend. Oxyotyl for instance is working fine with the submod while Taurox and Thorek are still showing the HN banners.
What's weird is that some of the older lords seems to be bugged as well, like Tyrion, Teclis and a few others. Not sure why it bugged like that, but removing the old version and resubing didn't fix it so I assume it's a bug on this update. Take your time to take a look. Thanks.

Just confirmed that making sure my submod is loaded first and [HN]'s loaded after (maybe even make sure it's significantly after), that portraits show up but HN's banners still show up in battles.

I have to state (maybe I'll add to description) that I use Kaedrin's mod manager (and encourage everyone to.) I named my mod so that it had higher priority alphanumerically for the pack file name and loads first. If you're using CA's launcher, you definitely want mine ahead in load order. The reason for this is, this is a submod that basically overwrites the faction leader portraits (back to the original) as I was given permission to do that but not replicate the entire mod minus the changes to portraits. This may cause some issues when it comes to loading order.

I'll test CA's launcher and see if that's the issue here.

Hey dude I'm having a problem at the hero selection screen I still see banners instead of portraits. Turned off all the mods except banner overhaul and yours and its still not working. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

OK. It should be updated now. Tested the Heralds of Ariel vs. Moulder and the battle banners look correct. Portraits also show up for the new lords. One note: I don't have Aislinn from Cataph's Elven Sea Patrol mod. I can add this but I don't have that mod right now and wanted to make sure the mod covered

Yes, my mistake. I was reviewing the other day and time got away from me. Should be up by end of today if Steam doesn't do that weird thing where you think you've updated but it doesn't show.

Oh, I see that the parent mod has not been updated yet. I need to make sure I include the mod LLs like Mixu's. I will fix this when HN finalizes his update.

This submod needs to be on top or loaded first. I titled the actual mod pack that way, but if you have another launcher and it's not loading first that could be a problem.

Does HN even do OVN factions? If not, it may still create a conflict if OVN has faction flags (I assume they do.) Also, if you're using any unlocker, I have no idea what shows up or how that works.

I enabled only HN's main mod and this submod and they both work together still. You either have a conflict with another mod you're using, or something else is going on. I can't diagnose it if it's working for me with only these two mods operating.

Note: I used Kaedrin's Mod Manager.

@desbris I'll take a look, it must have been the beta going live, I know it worked after the W&P update. I think because it's graphical, there won't be any issue if you activate it later (don't quote me on that though.)

yeah, the first couple times i tried it locally it didn't take but I just added the default folder to the mod and it seems to have worked. File is updated. Good luck with the weapon strength bug though...i'm waiting until that's fixed.

I tried it locally now, if you're using RPFM you can extract that png, it will create a folder structure with it, then you can add that to your submod and it will overwrite the main mod.

Ok, I found it. It's in the data2 pack file. Changing the name of the png itself doesn't work the same way it would with stat tables. I would need to delete the original but I don't have it as part of this mod.

Hello! Thanks for pointing that out. If I'm not mistaken this is an update on HN's part. The issue I face is that he wanted this to be a dependent submod. So I only have the vanilla portraits at higher priority in the pack. I think I found the default frame but I'm not sure. If the mod (this isn't me complaining, just stating facts) were fully independent submod then I could simply delete the offending .png. As it is, I have to add to the pack and hope that I can assign it priority. Been looking at it so far and hope to fix it soon.

Could you please consider returning the portrait frame back to vanilla?
There is a circle in the upper right designed to fit an icon there in the overhaul but it's not necessary with the vanilla portraits.

Entry ui>skins>warhammer2>fe_lord_portrait_frame.png as far as I can tell.

I think that depends on what prefix is given for the tables in the mod, but if it's the Choose your Character mod, I know that has its own assets and art. If you used pack file manager to give priority (basically something like !!!!!modtitle) you can make sure that table loads instead of something else.

Quick question. if I have a mod that updates the Faction Selection portraits and I use this alongside the Banner Overhaul, will it use vanilla portraits or the mods. I'm not able to test right now.
