In terms of suggestions, personally I’d say.
• Increase char_height from 52 to 90 so the damage percentage arrow doesn’t cover her face.
• Set the 4th red alt’s victory theme as “Strawberry Crisis!!” , since this is probably the closest we’ll get to Yumemi being a playable fighter lol.
• Make her taunt like Fox’s shine from Melee.
Her aerial movement is really fluid and satisfying to use, as it should be of course, as she is the Wind God Girl herself after all!
For this reason, my favourite move would have to be her FSpecial. For starters, it doesn’t send you into free fall, and if you use it in the air and mash the down key you can actually move her down while the move’s still active. If you jump at the end while holding the directional arrow key, you also carry over all your horizontal momentum.
USpecial’s compliments this well, as you can recover from free fall if you wall jump. These tools are extremely useful in edge guarding, since they have really good knockback and you can repeatedly use them into the wall (2 jumps + Fair + Wall jump = FSpecial max 4 times and USpecial max 1 time or USpecial max 2 times). Just watch out for slow-moving grouped projectiles, because you’ll still take damage from them.
YAMERO!
Alright, hopefully I can condense my review to less than 4 comments this time lol.
First her regular moves. Dair is good for fast falling, spikes, and can be used at the start of a short hop. Uair is massive, in a good way, and helps with juggling. Her walk is helpful in intimidating the opponent as well!
DSpecial’s long lasting projectile works well with zoning. And here second NSpecial projectile is pretty useful too, since it has a downwards facing arc. For example, on a Battlefield-shaped stage, when standing on a platform, you can cover both the above and below of the opposite platform.
AYAYYAYA!!
