Can you explain why this would be used over just changing the mining speed setting in the vanilla game?

cant you just turn up production speed before starting a game or does that not affect mining like i thought it did.

Sir Luis-> If I change it to strength it would not use labouring as there is only 1 stat that can be used but if nobody minds it then I can change it

Thank you for this. Now if only mining nodes would eventually run out of ore.
