@games3534 shoot lol just reminded me "It"

@slavonator They are using parking lots more often because those typically have a tourist attraction element attached to them (unless it's set to 0 on the asset). I don't think it's possible to add that element to a road (which would essentially turn it into a park)

@slavonator I don't know well... but it might be helpful to handle with parking AI option in TMPE.
slavonator 29.9.2022 klo 3.24
@네인 | neinnew great idea and great asset/road. but I still don't know if I'm doing something wrong, the roads are placed correctly in my opinion, but cars park there very, very rarely. it means that it works, but very few cars park here. sometimes only one, maximum two vehicles on the entire street. on some streets neither. and I have a pretty busy city, because the nearby parking lots on the roads are full. do you know what the problem is?
L2 27.9.2022 klo 15.42
oh ok

Is this mod Plazas & Promenades compatible?
Snacko 4.11.2021 klo 6.13
Hi. I'm having trouble to understand how to use this? Does it have to be next to a specific type of road? Does it need to be connected to the road network? I put it next to a highway and none of the cars will park in it.
Netinho Awey 2.9.2021 klo 15.19
Lol i like it
neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 14.5.2021 klo 8.18
@NOiZE that's impossible... parking lane is always parallel to the segment.
NOiZE 14.5.2021 klo 7.46
Cool! How about a network with the parking spots 90 degrees turned? And 45 degrees? Perhaps even with small variations for each spot?
MikeGreeneHimself 11.8.2020 klo 14.53
@nhatanh0475 Thank you for letting all of us know this mod is "useless for you"!

Now, (when you get a moment), please let us know how relevant each of the other +100,000 mods are for you. Thanks again! =)
Sergih123 26.7.2020 klo 5.47
Thnak you! :D
neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 26.7.2020 klo 5.30
@Sergih123 yes like parking lot building
Sergih123 26.7.2020 klo 5.22
So they don't need to literally connect to a road, they just need to be near it for cims to use the parking? :D
BrowncoatTrekky 23.7.2020 klo 12.03
Query. So potentially one can use this for underground parking?
leach22ri 4.5.2020 klo 13.54
(Bump) can you please add handicapped and EV Parking?

@Opium do you have road anarchy and all those classic mods
Opium 31.3.2020 klo 1.14
As a newb: i dont get it... it says its a normal road but it seems to just be parallel lines? Pictures suggest you maybe draw it on top of existing roads but then you get "space already occupied"?
nhatanh0475 26.3.2020 klo 22.30
Can you change the Workshop manager asset Thumbnail please :3

And for those who have more questions: I recommend reading comments from Sp3ctre18 and cbudd on the previous page.
neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 17.3.2020 klo 9.37
Think about how cars work on those vanilla roads. It's exactly the same. Cars park when they try to, and leave when they try to leave. This is the road parking space itself.
Dayradon 17.3.2020 klo 9.29
Basically, Just like you might draw a fence down one side of a park, this mod allows you to draw a row of parked cars. I'm not too sure on all the features ie: all cars bumper to bumper, or side by side. Also not sure how the height/curves are achieved. I don't believe the cars will drive off or park. They are just decoration to say fill in a mall's parking area. At least that's how I understand it.
neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 17.3.2020 klo 8.14
Third and fourth pictures, thumbnails show the situation in which it is actually used.
Dayradon 16.3.2020 klo 14.12
Ty for the response. It explained what I couldn't understand from the pictures. I'm sorry to say but the "Parking Lot Roads" mod can achieve the same, and cars will leave/fill parking spots too. Gonna stick with that.
neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 16.3.2020 klo 8.43
This is just a network where only the parking portion of the road is separated. and the image is merely exaggerated so as not to confuse the shape of the network with other roads. third picture also shows the normal situation and utilization of this network. I understand that you may feel that there is not enough description, but because I am not an English speaker, I have trouble properly expressing such obvious explanations.
Dayradon 16.3.2020 klo 6.00
Description about what this IS and DOES need work. Also the images give no real clue. I dunno how many players want cars parked in mid air in various contortions or configurations, but I certainly don't. From what I can GUESS. Just like you can lay out fences (draw a line) this does the same thing, except with parked cars. I have no idea if they actually drive away or pull in, or if they are just decoration, but someone asking for handicap spots leads me to believe that the empty spot would be visible at some point, as it is kinda hard to tell a filled handicap spot from a filled non handicap spot. I'll pass on this until there is a better description as to what it does, is for, and the various options/features are listed.
leach22ri 12.3.2020 klo 9.39
can you please add handicapped and EV Parking?
neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 11.3.2020 klo 21.25
@Bay Bomber There will have to be a car around trying to park

neinnew/네인  [tekijä] 12.2.2020 klo 3.49
@xEthanoL yeah It is possible. rather connections are not recommended.
Sp3ctre18 12.2.2020 klo 3.43
@Arkwaldr, you already got your answer it's mainly to show off it can go anywhere, but there are a few people like who have been needing this for their hovercars. I'm building a highly futuristic city and neinnew made this network just coincidentally at a perfect time when I was about to build up a parking area. :steamhappy:
xEthanoL 12.2.2020 klo 3.17
Can cars still park there even if its not connected to a road like the parking buildings? does it work even if you dont connect them to roads?

Could taxi waiting areas be made perhaps combining the "roads" made here and vehicle restrictions in Traffic Manager? Just lay down your parking areas and lock them off to only allow taxis.
cbudd 11.2.2020 klo 8.48
@arkwaldr Well the parking in the sky as shown in the screenshot is mainly for showcasing purposes. But the network allows placing parking lots more freely and more precise. If you want to have a road with planters between the parking lots for example. It also enables placing functional parking without a connection to the ground, like on selfmade parking decks for example. And since it's invisible the network doesn't cover any custom designs.
arkwaldr 11.2.2020 klo 7.39
I don't get it at all. Why would anyone want cars parking in the sky? I'm sure it is me but this doesn't make sense to me. maybe someone can explain it's purpose.
Darf 11.2.2020 klo 4.54
It would be great if you could also do a 90 degree turned one. Not sure if that's possible though.
