The mod is amazing and I am in love with the weapon, well done! That said, I believe the sound of the gun firing is a bit too loud. I play the game with lowered volume and all the other guns are rather muted, but this gun is still quite loud and is quite jarring. I have to lower the volume to the point where I can't hear any other guns to keep this one's shots tolerable for the dog, who freaks out when your gun fires. :P

It's actually underpowered if you play with Beta Strike but that can be fixed with a few .ini edits and boosting the stats to around that of Coilguns.

Though I would be have expected a cannon instead of a shotgun. At least Lo Wang and Jane Kelly will get some use out of it before Plasma weapons come in.

@Nate: That'd be a Metion Battlesuit, which this shotgun is a partner to, Carrying, but not limited to: a folding ballistic shield with built-in magnetic minigun, left-shoulder mounted heavy weapon hardpoint, and right-shoulder-mounted Rocket barrage pod.

Hello I'm not entirely clear on what is needed to obtain these guns. You mention Andromedons autopsy and Gauss research, but you also indicate killing custodians.
I understand that, for the time being, Andromedons and Gauss will suffice but that, in the future, killing custodians will also be a requirement for the mod to function ?
It would therefore make the custodians mods compulsory ?
Did I understood correctly ?
