the CPC is a North Korean Communist Party organ, which Yi-Kang was never part of.
Zandrus 2 Jul @ 12:22pm
Hello, I'd like to point out that the non aligned party for Korea is a Yi Dynasty leader (older brother of Yi Un), who wasn't involved with the "Central Peoples' Commitee" as far as I am aware. Maybe I am wrong?
Zandrus 14 Mar @ 12:49pm
Hello hello, its me. I liked the updated COA for Germany, and going throguh the debugs again, Iwanted to point out the tags lacking party names:

RHI, HES,THU, OCC, ADU..also why does the CYP fascist party have "???"
Zandrus 26 Nov, 2024 @ 1:18pm
Considering how very few people see that focus or care, I think it will be fine as is, shame Paradox can't make changing cosmetic names through events ironman compat.
CSRZ  [author] 26 Nov, 2024 @ 9:58am
@Zandrus
I can change the name via event pack an make it non-ironman compatible or change "House of Zogu" for more generic name (like Monarchists etc.)
Zandrus 26 Nov, 2024 @ 9:33am
Small note, when the king of Wied is installed, it stays says "House of Zogu" as party. Is there a way to change it? is it ironman compatible?
Zandrus 15 Nov, 2024 @ 8:42am
Found something for Luxembourg fascist party, instead of it being the army, considering who is the country leader if they flip to Fascism:

Either its the more historically accurate "Luxemburger Gesellschaft für Deutsche Literatur und Kunst"/GEDELIT, or the 1940 but more 'appropiate' sounding "Volksdeutsche Bewegung".

I'll await your response, friend, and take your time updating the mod as necessary from the new expansion
Zandrus 14 Nov, 2024 @ 1:25pm
Might need to update this by now
GSS 1 Oct, 2024 @ 2:19pm
I don't know if it's intentional but the names of the political parties in France are in lower case, as well as neutral Poland.
Headless 29 Sep, 2024 @ 7:55am
Yo, Love your mod! Sent a friend request, I'm working on a huge mod, I'd love to hear your opinion

neeeeeveeeeer :)
That One Idiot Who Always Dies 14 Mar, 2024 @ 11:02pm
Please make a version that's compatible with RT56
Zandrus 11 Mar, 2024 @ 2:00pm
I am also trying my best to look at what political parties were part of what is now "Welsh Argentina" at this time.
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 3:15pm
Acroymn: PLRE, and well, copy paste the Party name of its Spanish version
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 3:14pm
I noticed another error:

Ecuadors democratic party name is literally "Republic of Ecuador". Is that normal?

Since its Federico Paez, I see its a coalition between Independents and the "Partido Liberal Radical Ecuartoriano", or Liberal-Radical Ecuadorian Party in English.
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 1:01pm
Very nice!!!
CSRZ  [author] 10 Mar, 2024 @ 12:59pm
I made an update also to my other mod.

Right now the initial party names are:
dem: Partido Colorado
fas: NSDAP-Landkreis Uruguay
com: Partido Comunista del Uruguay
non-aligned: Partido Colorado-Marzistas

If you're also subscribed to my Historical Immersion Event Pack you will get an event that changes non-aligned party name from Partido Colorado-Marzistas to Partido Nacional after Partido Colorado loses the election in 1938 or if Terra is replaced with Alfredo Baldomir.
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 10:30am
Thanks bro, I assume the others as well or just that until further notice?
CSRZ  [author] 10 Mar, 2024 @ 10:28am
I've implemented your suggested changes into the mod.

Neutral party is now Partido Colorado-Marzistas.
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 10:22am
Yeah, its just a mess. I'll see what we can do with Party Emblems and Party names for Argentina and the others, if you don't mind me becoming part of the team as a consultant, haha.
CSRZ  [author] 10 Mar, 2024 @ 10:02am
I think no one in Paradox thought this through.

If I had to guess they were in the middle of making a focus tree for Uruguay and someone up top said - "f*ck it, just cut the rest and release it".

I've found they made new icons for agency emblems for Brazil and Argentina, but didn't add the agencies themselves in the game. I've added these in my Agency Emblems mod, but come on...
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 9:23am
From what I know, the "Partido Nacista" is a Chilean Party, not a Uruguayan one. Its ficitious in a Uruguayan Context

https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascismo_en_Uruguay#Revisionismo

Either its the Revionist Party, but that fits more in a Uruguayan overhaul mod than vanilla, which is why I say NSDAP-LU due to Fuhrmann taking over Uruguay, which is a real party which existed, and fits well in Vanilla.
CSRZ  [author] 10 Mar, 2024 @ 8:56am
In the game fascist "PN" is Partido Nacista not Partido Nacional.

Well - I can try to fix Gabriel Terra being Partido Nacional leader and make Partido Colorado the ruling party at the start of the game via my other mod that adds events.
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 5:56am
Overall, we will have to see after the hotfixes (like the whole border situation with the Amazon), and other glitches.
Zandrus 10 Mar, 2024 @ 5:54am
The PN is also a democratic faction, as seen in the focus tree, unless it stays a non-aligned party.
Paradox chose Gabriel Terra to be non-aligned, so that will not be fixed.

Thats why I picked PC-Marzistas or "Coalicion Marzista" to be more accurate to the regime, which in game is 'non-aligned'.
The PN is also considered the Fascist party, when in reality it never has been overally, perhaps a faction within, the only two groups (or a third of which I am not aware of) are Fascios among the Italian-Uruguayan community, which is a large community, or, since the focus tree to Fascism involves itself with Fuhrmann and the Nazis, the NSDAP-LU (Part of the NSDAP Auslander organizations).
CSRZ  [author] 9 Mar, 2024 @ 3:20pm
Alright. I checked it in the game and read a little bit about Uruguayan politics from that era and it get's pretty weird:

In the newest focus tree for Uruguay the Partido Nacional is treated as a non-aligned party and Partido Colorado as a democratic party,
BUT
at the same time Partido Nacional is the starting/default party with Gabriel Terra as it's leader which is not historically accurate.

I don't now how to change this without screwing with the new focus tree... I hope that Paradox is going to adress this in the hotfix and make the democratic party the starting one with Gabriel Terra as it's leader or switch them within the focus tree. Otherwise if you pick Colorado focus tree you will end up with PN in charge and vice-versa after I change the names of the parties as you suggested.
Zandrus 9 Mar, 2024 @ 1:00pm
From what I saw in Uruguayan playthroughs with the DLC anyway, I'll try to get the DLC and see it for myself with your mod on.
Zandrus 9 Mar, 2024 @ 12:59pm
@CSRZ

Yes, like PN for the Fascists, for example, and the double PCs for Non-aligned and Democratic.
CSRZ  [author] 9 Mar, 2024 @ 11:20am
@Zandrus
I didn't plan to change any South American party names already included in the DLC. Are Uruguay parties in the newest DLC wrong?
Zandrus 9 Mar, 2024 @ 9:54am
The last one is what the non-aligned one, and therefore, starting regime is
Zandrus 9 Mar, 2024 @ 9:53am
Hello, for the new political parties of Uruguay in the DLC, should be as follows:

PC or PN -(Partido Colorado/Partido Nacional)Democratic
NSDAP-LU (NSDAP-Landkreis Uruguay)(Fascist)
PCU - (Partido Comunista del Uruguay) Communist
PC-M (Partido Colorado-Marzistas)
Zandrus 8 Mar, 2024 @ 5:30am
Interesting, perhaps it might be a conflict with the new party names due to the new DLC?
CSRZ  [author] 8 Mar, 2024 @ 5:26am
There's a bug in the newest DLC where the Frente Popular party name in Chile doesn't appear on screen.

No idea what casues it, but it's not caused by this mod.
CSRZ  [author] 3 Mar, 2024 @ 3:41am
@Zandrus
Thank you for spotting it. I I'll update it today.
Zandrus 2 Mar, 2024 @ 8:15am
Hello, the non aligned party for vietnam has an "?", mostly likely an error. Perhaps the game can't read the "ễ" in Nguyễn dynasty.
An Anomalocaris 28 Jan, 2024 @ 11:12am
I think the non-aligned French party should be the Action Française rather than the vague "Légitimistes", as the AF was the largest monarchist party in France while Legitimists were the smallest faction of French monarchists by 1936
Kuki 31 Oct, 2023 @ 6:13am
Hi there, great mod, just a little correction; the name for the Czechoslovak democratic party should be Československá strana národně socialistická (Czechoslovak National Socialist Party). ČSNS changed its name ten years before the game start date.

If people are interested in the name for other languages here you go: DEU, Tschechoslowakische National-Socialistische Partei/PL, Czechosłowackaja Partia Narodowo-Socjalistyczna/RUS, Чехословацкая национально-социалистическая партия/ESP, Partido Nacionalsocialista Checoslovaco/FR, Parti national socialiste tchécoslovaque. As for brazilian portuguese I just ran it through a translator but looks accurate enough to me: Partido nacional-socialista da Tchecoslováquia (Any native/proficient speaker is welcome to correct me).
Zandrus 21 Oct, 2023 @ 6:05am
Thanks CSRZ!
CSRZ  [author] 19 Oct, 2023 @ 10:06am
@Zandrus
I've changed Romanian parties in the newest version to be exactly like in vanilla in the newest patch.
ROM_fascism_party2:1 "PNC"
ROM_fascism_party2_long:1 "Partidul National Crestin"
ROM_fascism_party:2 "Garda de Fier"
ROM_fascism_party_long:2 "Garda de Fier"
Zandrus 19 Oct, 2023 @ 9:24am
@CSRZ

A small update, Iron Guard is the one for Himo Sihma (?), while National Christian party is for the historical Ion Antoneasceau one!
Zandrus 19 Oct, 2023 @ 9:23am
I will be checking out the other party names for any errors.
CSRZ  [author] 11 Oct, 2023 @ 1:33pm
@Zandrus
I missed this in the previous patch.
Thanks. Should be fixed now.
Zandrus 25 Jul, 2023 @ 9:02am
Yo, Romanian parties are switched. Gardia de Fler is the Iron Guard paramilitary, not the National Christian Party. and Iron Guard of Ion Antonesceau is not National Christian Party. It should be:

Partidul Totul pentru Țară (TpT/ TPT) for Iron Guard choice, and the Partidul Nacional Crestin for the National Christian Party focus name change.
George F. Breathless 9 Mar, 2023 @ 7:39pm
The British Malaya parties don't have shortened names.
Usernemaname 4 Mar, 2023 @ 12:04pm
the name of mussolini's party is "Fasci italiani di Combattimento", "partito d'azione" was a liberal-socialist anti-fascist party
donald.grape 24 Feb, 2023 @ 2:54am
I have a suggestion. Why not make communist parties in historically communist countries have names. Based on the long-serving leader and his beloning to the particular party.
So it goes like this:
Benin - PRPB
Congo-Brazzaville - CPL
Madagascar - MRP
Mozambique - FRELIMO
Somalia - SRSP
Angola - MPLA

Wikipedia and rulers.org are the sources.
MrElement 28 Sep, 2022 @ 10:39am
will it be updated for BBA?
CSRZ  [author] 25 Nov, 2021 @ 7:38am
Mod updated - Polish neutral party will now be called "Frakcje sanacyjne" (Sanation factions) to signify that there are actually three of them. Original "Sanacja" broke after 1935, so it seemed like a logical change.

I will try update CoA's mod next.
CSRZ  [author] 24 Nov, 2021 @ 3:12pm
Okay - I updated the country names mod.

I will work on this one tomorrow.
