RHI, HES,THU, OCC, ADU..also why does the CYP fascist party have "???"
I can change the name via event pack an make it non-ironman compatible or change "House of Zogu" for more generic name (like Monarchists etc.)
Either its the more historically accurate "Luxemburger Gesellschaft für Deutsche Literatur und Kunst"/GEDELIT, or the 1940 but more 'appropiate' sounding "Volksdeutsche Bewegung".
I'll await your response, friend, and take your time updating the mod as necessary from the new expansion
neeeeeveeeeer :)
Ecuadors democratic party name is literally "Republic of Ecuador". Is that normal?
Since its Federico Paez, I see its a coalition between Independents and the "Partido Liberal Radical Ecuartoriano", or Liberal-Radical Ecuadorian Party in English.
Right now the initial party names are:
dem: Partido Colorado
fas: NSDAP-Landkreis Uruguay
com: Partido Comunista del Uruguay
non-aligned: Partido Colorado-Marzistas
If you're also subscribed to my Historical Immersion Event Pack you will get an event that changes non-aligned party name from Partido Colorado-Marzistas to Partido Nacional after Partido Colorado loses the election in 1938 or if Terra is replaced with Alfredo Baldomir.
Neutral party is now Partido Colorado-Marzistas.
If I had to guess they were in the middle of making a focus tree for Uruguay and someone up top said - "f*ck it, just cut the rest and release it".
I've found they made new icons for agency emblems for Brazil and Argentina, but didn't add the agencies themselves in the game. I've added these in my Agency Emblems mod, but come on...
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascismo_en_Uruguay#Revisionismo
Either its the Revionist Party, but that fits more in a Uruguayan overhaul mod than vanilla, which is why I say NSDAP-LU due to Fuhrmann taking over Uruguay, which is a real party which existed, and fits well in Vanilla.
Well - I can try to fix Gabriel Terra being Partido Nacional leader and make Partido Colorado the ruling party at the start of the game via my other mod that adds events.
Paradox chose Gabriel Terra to be non-aligned, so that will not be fixed.
Thats why I picked PC-Marzistas or "Coalicion Marzista" to be more accurate to the regime, which in game is 'non-aligned'.
The PN is also considered the Fascist party, when in reality it never has been overally, perhaps a faction within, the only two groups (or a third of which I am not aware of) are Fascios among the Italian-Uruguayan community, which is a large community, or, since the focus tree to Fascism involves itself with Fuhrmann and the Nazis, the NSDAP-LU (Part of the NSDAP Auslander organizations).
In the newest focus tree for Uruguay the Partido Nacional is treated as a non-aligned party and Partido Colorado as a democratic party,
BUT
at the same time Partido Nacional is the starting/default party with Gabriel Terra as it's leader which is not historically accurate.
I don't now how to change this without screwing with the new focus tree... I hope that Paradox is going to adress this in the hotfix and make the democratic party the starting one with Gabriel Terra as it's leader or switch them within the focus tree. Otherwise if you pick Colorado focus tree you will end up with PN in charge and vice-versa after I change the names of the parties as you suggested.
Yes, like PN for the Fascists, for example, and the double PCs for Non-aligned and Democratic.
I didn't plan to change any South American party names already included in the DLC. Are Uruguay parties in the newest DLC wrong?
PC or PN -(Partido Colorado/Partido Nacional)Democratic
NSDAP-LU (NSDAP-Landkreis Uruguay)(Fascist)
PCU - (Partido Comunista del Uruguay) Communist
PC-M (Partido Colorado-Marzistas)
No idea what casues it, but it's not caused by this mod.
Thank you for spotting it. I I'll update it today.
If people are interested in the name for other languages here you go: DEU, Tschechoslowakische National-Socialistische Partei/PL, Czechosłowackaja Partia Narodowo-Socjalistyczna/RUS, Чехословацкая национально-социалистическая партия/ESP, Partido Nacionalsocialista Checoslovaco/FR, Parti national socialiste tchécoslovaque. As for brazilian portuguese I just ran it through a translator but looks accurate enough to me: Partido nacional-socialista da Tchecoslováquia (Any native/proficient speaker is welcome to correct me).
I've changed Romanian parties in the newest version to be exactly like in vanilla in the newest patch.
ROM_fascism_party2:1 "PNC"
ROM_fascism_party2_long:1 "Partidul National Crestin"
ROM_fascism_party:2 "Garda de Fier"
ROM_fascism_party_long:2 "Garda de Fier"
A small update, Iron Guard is the one for Himo Sihma (?), while National Christian party is for the historical Ion Antoneasceau one!
I missed this in the previous patch.
Thanks. Should be fixed now.
Partidul Totul pentru Țară (TpT/ TPT) for Iron Guard choice, and the Partidul Nacional Crestin for the National Christian Party focus name change.
So it goes like this:
Benin - PRPB
Congo-Brazzaville - CPL
Madagascar - MRP
Mozambique - FRELIMO
Somalia - SRSP
Angola - MPLA
Wikipedia and rulers.org are the sources.
I will try update CoA's mod next.
I will work on this one tomorrow.
