I'm sorry, I'm not playing Rimworld myself anymore, I just keep some mods up2date. If someone wants to continue this mod and enhance it then please feel free to do so. Please drop me a comment here though then so that I can link other players to your mod.

Great mod, wouldn´t wanna play without it.

Any chance the prestige models could be insulated too so my royals don´t sweat /freeze their buttoxes off ? :D

Request for 1.2, and also remove the Royalty requirement. Thank you!

Please do update it for folks who aren't using Royalty. I liked it when I had it but I don't have and currently have no plans to acquire the DLC (from what I can tell it goes in directions I have zero or negative interest in.)

Ctrl+F would have been fine, or this code: 2009271597 but okay, your choice mate. I'll update this one at some point but it only affects players who don't use the Royalty DLC.

I was going to try and download it but considering all of the steam workshop files are randomly numbered coded, i am not digging into the files one by one. Sorry mate, going to have to uninstall :(

Hello. Some of your mods that use Harmony also throw errors. Regardless, it seems that my mod doesn't work w/o the Royalty DLC. I'll fix this later. For now you can replace your two XML files with this (basically I removed the Cataphract and Recon armors from it):

Please let me know if this fixes it for you.

Hi @Squirting Elephant!

I keep getting this error in my logs from your mod, I believe it is causing my pawn (who is wearing an Insulated piece of armor) to stand still and not do anything. I've tried various things to fix this with no avail. This is the only error message I have for all of my mods. I've tried reordering near top and at the bottom as well.

Any idea how to fix?

Thank you. I updated this mod. It now satisfies royal needs for the Recon Helmet. It was only the Recon Helmet.

Sure, sent you a friend request.
Meantime, tested it a bit without other mods just in case - bug still here. Also, finally got where we misunderstood each other - yes, for main armour it is okay, the problem is only for helmets. But in vanilla power armour helmets are enough to "satisfy royal need". Check my latest public screenshots for details.
Anyway, this is in no way critical, but thanks for your response :)

My armors should have the tags already (because my XML inherits from the build-in power armors so that any changes to the core game also automatically apply to my mod).

I used godmode to give pawns ranks instantly and I checked these ranks yesterday: Countess, Knight, Stellarch & Empress and they have a -7ish mood debuff when naked and when they wear vanilla OR my Insulated Power Armor it satisfies their clothing needs and the debuff is gone.

Of course it only works for the body armors (not the helms) but this is how the core game also does it. If I'm still misunderstanding, please add me on Steam so we can look into it or perhaps you can screen-share.

When your royals reach certain rank they have certain requirements in apparel (also bedroom, throne room, so on). In vanilla this include new "noble apparel" (ruffle shirt, corset, so on) or any power armour (or psycaster armour). Otherwise you get mood debuff like "Want Esquire-specific apparel". Should be just a simple tag fix

@fivetimesdead
I shortly looked into it today but sorry I haven't played the DLC myself so "insulated power armour doesn`t fit "royal requirements"", what do you mean by this? What am I missing?
superresistant 27 Mar, 2020 @ 6:39am
thaaank you
Squirting Elephant  [author] 14 Mar, 2020 @ 5:18pm
Ah, I never actually played the DLC (except for testing mods) so I might have overlooked this. I'm busy but I'll look into it a bit later.
fivetimesdead 13 Mar, 2020 @ 1:46pm
Hi, like your mod! Could you please add compatibility with Royalty DLC - right now insulated power armour doesn`t fit "royal requirements" as normal power armour does.
adamfrye 3 Mar, 2020 @ 12:59pm
yeah i just always play on extreme tempatures, and its kinda lame when i have to ditch the tank armor and all my dudes just end up wearing devistrand dusters or parkas... thanks mate.
adamfrye 3 Mar, 2020 @ 12:58pm
thank you elephant, that was a quick response and i appreciate it.
Squirting Elephant  [author] 3 Mar, 2020 @ 12:29pm
I now also added cataphract armor as well as translation support.
adamfrye 3 Mar, 2020 @ 11:16am
what about cataphract armor? i mean it makes sense that all these armors could just have an AC kit installed in the back, most tanks probably do the same, and these are basically tanks.
SpaceHamster 2 Mar, 2020 @ 1:32pm
Finally! I can rid of those damm parkas
Squirting Elephant  [author] 1 Mar, 2020 @ 5:55am
Great tip. I just added them.
ambi 1 Mar, 2020 @ 5:05am
can u do this for recon armor as well?
