this only affects weapon mods class mods can use PS and TPS interchangeably (Without any ini editing at least i'm not enough of an expert to tell you how to edit this ini to get it to work with TPS)

because no one bothered to answer the question properly @Theobald this one does not work with TPS (tested it myself). TPS makes secondaries primaries in a completely separate way to Primary Secondaries (PS creates completely separate templates while TPS seems to just unlock the slot restriction (at least that't the best way i can put it))

missing localization for ability template3940... Should be an easy fix. Also, if you don't have the files, you can just create an empty project and copy paste the files over and use alternate mod uploader to update this with the fix.. I did it and it works

To use with lwotc and dedicated pistol slot,disable lwotc version of dedicated pistol slot and in pistolslot.ini inside dps type +ADD_SLOT=(SOLDIER_CLASS="name of class", WEAPON_CAT="smartpistol", ALLOW_EMPTY=true) for bow same treatmeant but instead smartpistol type bow

Tried a lot of things config wise to get it to work in LWOTC (specifically the dedicated pistol slot) but can't seem to get it working. Only shows up in Secondary for the classes I'm trying to make it work on. I'll probably run into problems with the BowCaster too but don't have a Templar yet. If anyone's got it working with LWOTC pls leave a reply.

I seem to be experiencing a problem with Primary Secondaries, I cannot equip the Smart pistol as a primary for any classes, even if I add the string in the ini files for the class.

Already done, doesn't want to appear in my lwotc classes, when using the specific new classes names, except the Agent and only as secondary (and it does crazy things with knife skills but that's expected). Checked many times that I had the classes names right.

Here it says the Title, Long Description and Help Text for the Third Skill is missing. Not sure if it's another mod interfering or if it's a bug. :S

Ex:

you can configure it for primary or secondary you just need to update file for each class

After tweakings, it seems i can get the smartpistol added to classes as a secondary but it's blocking as a primary. Could it be an incompatibility with True Primary Secondaries ? (while it works with Primary Secondaries)

Even with the additional entries the smartguns aren't there - could it be blocked by True Primaries or something like that ?

Mod has a bug that causes characters to spaz out and shake strangely when viewing soldiers in the Armory.

I had a lot of trouble getting this to work with rpgo if have weapon restriction for class specializations. It seemed to work when I added the weapon to it's particular specialization

If you want to make this work with RPGO. Just read the damn description and do some basic ini editing to add it to the class so you can use the weapon.

sadly this does not work int he rpg overhaul mod, so you can't equip it with "everyone"

@Scavenger_26: TBF, Titanfall didn't invent "Smart Guns." The ones in there are based off the even earlier Smartguns from Aliens, and, you know, the real life ones that're actually being worked on.

Oops. It was the weapon that came up with the idea in Titanfall.
