I've found this mod sometimes works, other times doesn't. Found that launching a modded map, then relaunching in the main game makes it work or relauching the game.

Many months later and the HUD icon still isn't fixed. Mod definitely abandoned.

Works fine for me, if it doesn't show, find the vpk in your workshop files and put it into your Bms Custom file

It seems that one of the problems that cause it to not show up is when you have a viewmodel sleeve addon, so if it isn't working try just removing the sleeves.

A quick update:
The mod works, but it doesn't show up in your hands. It only shows up in the HECU's hands.

Is there a particular issue you're running into? Because I just have the mod subscribed from the workshop, without using the custom folder, and it works fine.

Again, if you can't see the model, unsubscribe and resubscribe. If that doesn't work (it should 99% of the time), then use the custom folder method.

All I did was take the vanilla Black Mesa worldmodel and replaced it with the new model, assigning vertex groups and all. I just did exactly what the guide I posted said about worldmodels.

Specifically I wanted to know how to make an extant .vpk I have for the MP5 1.0 compatible, because it currently prevents HECU marines from firing when installed. I understand this has something to do with worldmodel animations, but I'm not sure what exactly.
