This mod is not "only" explicit to vanilla vehicles, but its based on the vanilla vehicle script class, which means that custom vehicle mods that inherit from the vanilla vehicle class should work with this mod. So the best way for Custom Vehicle Modders is to inherit from that class, to make sure that their mod works with plenty of other Vehicle editing mods like this one here.
One question if you still have time for this thread & project COCA.
I believe you have already mentioned that this mod is explicit to vanilla vehicles. I've recently added the RUSForma_Vehicles mod, and would love to have your mod take effect on these additional assets. I assume that this is only be possible with support/changes from the RUSForma_Vehicles modders (?)

The damage protector does not start or it fails and the server crashes, but the cars do not receive damage .. you can only break the wheels.
For example Start with basic dayz (xml files included) and my mod to see if my mod is the root cause for the despawning, which mostlikly wont be the issue and after that add another mod and so on, thats how you can figure out which mod is behind the despawning problem
You can also just test this mod by itself and see if its really the reason behind it and let me know
