My notifications have been broken for the past month. I'll go in and fix version number, but everything should be working the same regardless.

Works on 1.5 ?

thanks, fighting 19 centipedes with combat extended was equal to hell before

this mod seems like a good fit to any game which also removes the lethal damage threshold, since that mod makes centipedes INCREDIBLY tanky as a side effect

thanks

I took a look at the files. It looks like the centipede base class is where the combat value is stored, so I've updated the patch to target it.

All types should now inherit the appropriate values if the patch functions correctly.

they really just split the existing centipedes with their weapons into their own types, and gave them differing textures, but still probably messes with the mod

centipede burner, centipede gunner and centipede blaster

I have not yet played biotech. What are the new centipedes called?
sekacek4000 6 Feb, 2023 @ 12:34pm
no longer really works, just had a swarm of 4-5 centipedes in a mech cluster, guessing biotechs new centipede types are messing with it

1.4?

I can only guess you are referring to when the Mechanoids get their software update, as Advanced centipedes will replace normal centipedes when they get enough of their ships
Existential Crisis 18 Jul, 2022 @ 6:58pm
No, there's an advanced version of the centipede
CorerMaximus 29 Aug, 2021 @ 12:53pm
I think they're referring to this one here.

it does add a new version of the centipede afaik
Darth_Sergeant  [author] 8 Aug, 2021 @ 5:30pm
Haven't looked at it before. As long as VFE isn't also changing Centipede values or adding a different version of them, it should work fine.
saavedra 8 Aug, 2021 @ 3:10am
Does this also work with VFE-Mechanoids centipedes? If it doesn't, a patch would be awesome.

Pog mod
kotamine 21 Nov, 2020 @ 8:09am
Alright, thanks anyway!
Darth_Sergeant  [author] 21 Nov, 2020 @ 7:55am
@køt

That would be a great addition, but I am unable to do it at the moment. I've looked into mod settings before, but I do not know C# nor do I have the programs required to tinker with it.
kotamine 21 Nov, 2020 @ 5:09am
Could you add a slider or something to change the value in the mod settings?
It'd be nice to have sliders for other mechanoids too.

Losing their ability to fire once in melee means jack-shit when there's +25 of them knocking at your door... Thanks man
GraniteBar 30 Mar, 2020 @ 2:59am
They may lose firepower when they enter melee range, however, you usually don't have enough melee pawns to take care of each centipede while having enough firepower to take them all down without casualties, since one downed melee pawn means a facefull of charge bullets or everyone being set on fire and stopping tanking.

i like this
MrHazard 23 Mar, 2020 @ 12:04pm
when they are in a ball, they are nigh unstoppable but they aren't flammable
Jojojay 21 Mar, 2020 @ 12:54pm
the main reason centipedes are considered so weak is that they have the firepower of four units combined into one shell, but lose almost all of it when they enter melee range.
