Jonesy Fox, if you do not want to lose the plant, I recommend using Vanilla Cooking Expanded with Ideology to get the Sweet Teeth Meme. This adds cocoa bushes that provide more chocolate, making it worth the time. I don't remember if you have to sow them again, but they yield a lot of resources at a price of growing for about a quadrum.

Hello, quick question. Does harvesting chocolate still "cut down" the tree? I'm trying for the nature primacy idealogion and I was annoyed that I cannot harvest chocolate without killing the tree. Thanks.

I think in Vanilla trees despawn after harvest...

This doesn't do anything to trees aside from change the resource harvested from the Cocoa Tree. So, no it shouldn't cause trees to despawn after harvesting.

I think this mod needs bulk recipes (the most common bulk recipe in cooking mods seems to be 5/4x but you can do whatever)
