those are just place holders. you can change them to any item you want found. you can also add more lines.. just keep the same format.. thats how you can add higher or lower chance to find something.

Haven’t heard otherwise.
This includes a config the server admin can populate with whatever parts they want to be found. Wrench at front of wreck for parts. Liquid container at fuel tank door to siphon random fuel amounts. Can also siphon from active cars too.

From my knowledge it was never a thing. No one has ever reported anything of tje sorts. And the mod doesn’t interact with types in anyway nor loot tables. It simply spawns an invisible search point at the engine and gas filler. And an action spawns a random item from the default config that’s generated.

I have a question. I used your mod like 1 year ago, and when i went in VPP Admin tools, i realized that due to this mod loading, less loot spawned around the map also. As if it was taking the server performance down or if not that, as if it was interfering with types.xml one way or another. Is that still a thing?

Some bits could be broken for you as well as for us, but others still might work. So test everything, it's probably still worth it. Depending on the whole mod list of course

Any possibility this will be updated to include landrover parts salvaging? Also, does the air array cover helicopters? And "where" on the aircraft does the salvage work?

correct. My mods don’t recreate these objects. if these objects get touched in a way, they resync thus basically ‘reset’. They arnt deleted, they are scaled down and moved. Then synced with the server over and over. those types of issues have been around mainly due to BI not paying mine to tickets submitted. I have no intention of rewriting any of my mods to work with a non official mod. just the name if the game.

"proxy framework" works only inside houses. it's literally finding proxies of a houses. wrecks are standalone objects.
i don't really remember how editor "deleting" objects. but it's probably happening after junkyard or something. because it's not actual delete, it's either moving or extremely small size, something like that probably

so i noticed this also adds back any vehicle deleted in the dayz editor when loaded.

so even after deleting vehicles in the editor from the map and saving to a .dze file, after installing junkyard the deleted vehicles return, this issue is the same thing indoor plumbing does due to proxy framework, i beleive proxy framework v2 fixes this issue but non of the junkyard, garbage search nor vending have been updated to use proxy v2.

Indoor plumbing is such a amazing concept and i wish this was developed more on proxy v2.

Also i notice search for loot improved uses the same concept and i believe zed worked on this with hunterz.

Would be nice to see the junkyard, garbage search and vending search mods revived.

if not for the issue where deleted items in editor return these would incredible

it would take a lot more config work than I’m willing at the moment. Currently the fuel point is just an object with a custom action or target it. many ways you could make an override to do it.

Hi is there any chance to turn off fuel refuel in wrecked cars? Car wrecks will be restored after server restart. Is it possible to set them to be renewed, for example, only after 3 days?

I’ve actually never tested. I’m guessing locked cars are still fair game. walk down the street, the first locked car you come to, check and see if the gas tank lid is also lock… most arnt. 🤷‍♂️

Does this work properly with carlocks (TraderPlus)? As in if vehicle is locked, would people still be able to siphon gas from it?
