Any word on your testing results?
This older script also seems to have accidentally (?) removed the ability for pirate ships to drop system upgrades, although they do tend to drop occasionally in my game, again, perhaps edge cases of some of the ship types missing a define so its reverting to default loot tables. I'm not sure but i am currently testing out a modern .lua adjustment to see if it works properly.

scroll down till you see
dependencies = {
{id = "Avorion", min = "1.0", max = "1.*"}
and change it to
dependencies = {
{id = "Avorion", min = "1.0", max = "2.*"}
thats the only issue, once u done this the game will let u load it and it works, i cba to upload mods n all that shit but its a change 1 character fix that any monkey can do, happy to help xD i just worked it out by people saying not same game version, n i know that the modinfo.lua and the part that asks for game version is normaly the only issue, incase u have issues with other mods xxx
PlinioJRM wrote in a comment below that he successfully fixed this mod.
Then they asked for permission to re-upload the fixed version.
However, from their Steam community page, it does not appear that they ever created a workshop item. I can only imagine that the fixed version was forgotten about.
The boring grind at the beginning when it's hard to either find or afford a few decent turrets is one of my biggest gripes for this game.
C:\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\445220\2052687922, or where ever your steam folder is.
then open modinfo.lua. change the "max" values to 2.0.6.. refresh if ingame mod menu
I've got an issue with this mod: it seems that some pirates (around 2 out of 3) don't have any weapons and just stay idle while being destroyed. They are often named "Sentinel".
I've been playing with other mods though it seems that this problem does not appear when I deactivate your mod. Any help?
Go to your steam workshop folder. Open the game ID and go through the mods ID and its subfolders to open the pirategenerator.lua file.
Make a backup of the file first.
Search for Raider, Ravager and Pirate and set below settings as you like. I have these:

Lol. If this is intended to be a minor adjustment then something went very wrong. I just destroyed 3 pirates and picked up over 600 turrets.
