I like the idea of this mod, but this mod only accounts for the SimulationDescriptors[MinorRelation] file. There is also the SimulationDescriptors[AcademyRelation] file that ALSO needs the MaxValue="100" added to it so factions don't pour resources into it. @Aarobot and all: new mods don't work on saved games -- must start from scratch.

Doesn't seem to work. Tried adding this and loading a save game from a few turns before a snipe - nothing changes.

Really a shame, because assimilation sniping is by far the game's most infuriating "feature".
