Mal0v1.0.0 18 Jan @ 4:04pm
i searched up porn on the search bar and this is the only result, im not disappointed this is truly porn
Cypr3sS 5 Jan @ 12:33am
it seems that venus saturn uranus and neptune's texture can't display correctly
"Meh" Incarnate 30 Mar, 2024 @ 5:24am
Also the title wasn't changed when we posted those comments.
TheDash 26 Feb, 2024 @ 3:41pm
ah well sorry, I guess I was assuming things
iboc_c64 26 Feb, 2024 @ 2:18pm
TheDash - "Parts of their mod" is not the whole mod. The most important part, the reason I was using the mod is the additional terraforming textures. Those still aren't available in the Real Sol Textures mod. Thus, most of the mod was not incorporated. I had to do that myself, manually, in order to get Titan, Ganymede, Europa, Callisto, Luna, etc. So no, it hasn't sorry to point out. Since this mod has 272 textures and Real Sol has just 61 textures, its reasonable to assume that there are at least 211 textures missing.
TheDash 26 Feb, 2024 @ 2:07pm
Fellas, read the title, its been integrated with the core mod. All of it is part of Real Sol Textures now.
Lynmin 11 Oct, 2023 @ 2:44pm
Yeah, 3.9 crashes with this mod enabled at main menu. Damn shame for such a good mod
"Meh" Incarnate 30 Sep, 2023 @ 12:36am
Unfortunately this mod doesn't seem to be working as of 3.9. The game crashes upon reaching the main menu for me. Not sure what changed between 3.8 and .9 that would have broken it but its a shame.
Theta-6 29 Jul, 2023 @ 7:48am
Is this Still Working?
Darkfalcone 16 Jul, 2023 @ 6:53am
I'm sorry if this is asked before, but how do I place this mod in the load order? Below Planetary Diversity and Real Space? I placed it like this in my load order and only Earth and Mars has the unique texture. Tried terraforming Luna, but it got basic continental planet texture instead
SteelHand7 20 Jun, 2023 @ 1:22pm
Also having the cell shaded texture issues on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Polyphemus and Venus. Tried the fix mentioned below about adding entries but have not seen any change.
iboc_c64 20 May, 2023 @ 7:19am
I found a fix to my problem below in case anyone is interested. The problem appears to be the new animations for gas giant planets. This also affects Venus as a special case. All I did was copy the entries from Real Sol for Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune to the Real Sol Expanded "zzz_soltextures_planetary_entities.asset" and "zzz_real_sol_expansion_entities.asset" and it worked with the new animations from the latest patch. However if I am reading the code correctly from the Real Sol version, it appears all he did was hash them out so the code changes would be ignored and the new textures from Stellaris 3.8 would take over. Which is fine by me because the new textures look right at home. I think Saturn is still using the Real Sol texture with the hexagonal poles. Everything seems to be great now.
SalmonFeet 19 May, 2023 @ 6:30pm
I havent been able to find a fix, maybe put it above planetary diversity if youre using it?
SalmonFeet 19 May, 2023 @ 6:29pm
yea same
iboc_c64 19 May, 2023 @ 5:24pm
Anyone else find this mod causing odd, almost cell shaded shadows on Saturn, Uranus & Neptune since 3.8? I stopped getting it from the standard Real Sol Textures from Alex FRD after he updated his mod for 3.8, but this pack still seems to be causing these specific gas giants to freak out. Love this mod, kinda bumbed. Looking for a work around on my side at the moment. Any ideas?
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 3 May, 2023 @ 1:23am
just a heads up this mod may be causing an additional sol system to spawn.
It happened twice: I was playing as my own modified UN of Earth with a regular sol system start, there was another sol system, uninhabited, the extra Earth was a tomb world.
After unsubscribing the issue subsided.
Note: the duplicate sol system didn't always spawn. Just sometimes. But, when this mod was subscribed.

@alex FRD
Absolutely I'd be honored!
Celestial Caesar 20 Mar, 2023 @ 12:16pm
Love the expansion you've made! If it's OK with you, do you mind if I add some of your expansions into the mod? With contribution credit given, of course.

AHA! Just answering my own question as many people might have related questions. Solved 2 problems at once. I wanted Titan terraformed using these textures, but I wanted that in Sol System Expanded. What I did was I started a game without this mod enabled but using Sol System Expanded and Real Sol Textures (base version). After I started the game I enabled this mod, which replaced some of the Real Sol Textures with higher detail versions (Earth, Earth Beta, Continental Venus and Continental Mars). I had terraformed them all after getting a lucky roll on venus and then I used a console command to make Titan a toxic terraforming candidate too. After titan was terraformed I used "effect set_planet_entity = {entity = "terraformed_titan_continental_entity"}" to change to this terraformed titan texture. Wabbam! Game is now just how I wanted it.
iboc_c64 30 Jan, 2023 @ 3:24pm
In my current game I have titan terraformed but its got a stock Stellaris continental texture. I have this mod installed but not enabled in the current game because I am using Sol System Expanded instead for sol sector instead. With this mod installed but not enabled, Can I still set the planet entity type to change to this texture using console commands? If so what is the correct entity name to use? I can't seem to find the entity names that match the texture files.
QualityPen 24 Jan, 2023 @ 8:06pm
Any chance we could get this mod's Sol System with the normal Large Sol Sector neighboring systems?
Spongememe 24 Jan, 2023 @ 3:07pm
For anyone that's wondering: the mod works perfectly fine on 3.6
Yoghurt 15 Dec, 2022 @ 1:28pm
Does the mod in it's current form work with 3.6 or am I better waiting for an update before attempting to use it?
Abolohit 4 Dec, 2022 @ 4:29am
I mean, can Real Sol Expansion start system be used with the Real Space default sector system start Sol system? I just want Real Sol Expansion start to replace Real Space's custom Epsilon Eridani and Alpha Centauri system
Abolohit 29 Nov, 2022 @ 8:34am
How to make Real Sol Expansion start compatible with Real Space?
Netist  [author] 25 Nov, 2022 @ 6:04pm
"It's a shame that the Starts don't have any variations for any other origins like Void Dwellers, Post-Apocalyptic or PD's Planetary Habitats."

That's actually a real good idea. I'm probably gonna look into updating the mod this weekend, and I'll see what it'll take to add some of those.
marsmelon24 22 Nov, 2022 @ 1:40pm
can you update this to 3.5.3
The Sun 19 Nov, 2022 @ 4:13pm
It's a shame that the Starts don't have any variations for any other origins like Void Dwellers, Post-Apocalyptic or PD's Planetary Habitats. If this were to be updated this is the one thing I'd like added.
cdworjan 30 Aug, 2022 @ 8:07pm
Just wanted to let you know about a small syntax error. In the solar_systems_intializers the neighbor_system hyperlane_distance defines have a comma between min and max distance. This breaks the file and as a result none of those systems are created.
The Al-Mond Milker 21 Aug, 2022 @ 5:26pm
You guys cool if I integrate this into a small mod I'm making?
Netist  [author] 9 Jul, 2022 @ 11:08am
Their class is updated by Planetary Diversity, so those events should be in events/00_pd_override.txt, just search for realsol_io and realsol_europa
SlickyHD 8 Jul, 2022 @ 8:02pm
In what file would I look for if I want Europa to start as a frozen world and Io as a molten world instead of volcanic and sub glacial?
SlickyHD 28 Jun, 2022 @ 8:34pm
Nice new update thank you poster.
Dekent 23 Feb, 2022 @ 5:29pm
If you go into the system itself you can right click the star to still build the starbase, annoying but it's a quick work around you'll likely only have to do once per game.
H.E. Pennypacker 19 Feb, 2022 @ 7:22pm
Since I've installed this I'm no longer able to build a starbase around Barnard's Star as the game doesn't register it as a star for some reason. Shame.
General Justinian 17 Jan, 2022 @ 11:16pm
I'm having a weird bug where if I use the "Real Sol Expansion" starting system, it seems that I don't have any habitable planets near me about 30%. I tested with just this mod and Real Sol Textures, and I still have the same issue. If that's the intention though, my apologies.
LRP2580 2 Jan, 2022 @ 4:14am
Is this mod compatible with Real Space and Real Space New Frontiers ?
That Random Alien 28 Nov, 2021 @ 8:01pm
Thanks mate
Netist  [author] 25 Nov, 2021 @ 8:25am
Yes, they require terraforming. When you terraform a planet, a trigger is activated that sets the correct textures for the planet. If you want to get the correct textures via console commands, instead of using planet_class, you'd have to start terraforming normally (with the button on the planet UI), and then use the finish_terraform command.
That Random Alien 23 Nov, 2021 @ 8:38pm
Out of curiousity, will the planet textures only activate through terraforming? Because when I do something like change the class of the planet through the console, the textures don't show
Netist  [author] 16 Oct, 2021 @ 8:16am
that's odd, can you test it with only real space and this mod enabled?
Serbian 347 16 Oct, 2021 @ 8:15am
however saturns rings are now duplicated most of the time with realspace on
Serbian 347 16 Oct, 2021 @ 8:13am
titan fixed regardless so
Netist  [author] 1 Oct, 2021 @ 7:17pm
What about them? I haven't noticed any issues with Titan.
Serbian 347 1 Oct, 2021 @ 1:14pm
ok good to know im assuming the normal and spec maps for titan will also be fixed (as thats the main object with issues atm)
Netist  [author] 1 Oct, 2021 @ 11:11am
I've provided Leaf with a patch that fixes ring with Real Space, so whenever he gets a chance to look it over, that should be fixed.
Serbian 347 1 Oct, 2021 @ 8:39am
can a patch be made for real space at all (mostly for saturns rings) also Venus should be a hothouse world if planetary diversity is on
Leaf  [author] 27 Sep, 2021 @ 11:55am
Yeah sure! If you want I can integrate it into this mod and add you as a contributor
Netist  [author] 25 Sep, 2021 @ 4:17pm
Hey, I started working on a few tweaks to this, but after a few days it's turned into a lot of tweaks, and I've made normal maps for most of the planets and moons in this mod, as well as improved specular maps for a lot of them. I've also built out textures (including normals and speculars) for planetary diversity planetary habitats. I may actually just upload it all as a separate mod to the workshop, but I'm wondering if you want to integrate it into this main mod?
