outgoing from my own experience i had so far more worldcorruptions by updates of se itself than by modusage or modupdates.
its allways possible you are finding a modconflict or catch file corruption on either game or modside which then in return can result in a world corruption as a possible worst case scenario.
what makes you think that wc is currently very broken?
Do you have concerns about me including it in some of my workshop stuff?

to clarify, if you want more than one set of weapons separately available to fire separately of each other on mouseclick
the exact feature you are looking for isn't a thing with weapon made for weaponcore sadly, i myself prefer that method as it's just simple and what most are used to but just isn't a thing, you can still get stuff to fire on mouse click but it's a wee bit funky sometimes and get s much funkier and/or clunkier if you want more than 1 selection of weapons available
read up on the weaponcore wiki or find a tutorial video if need be, otherwise don't use weaponcore weapons :/
either that or is there a way that i could edit the damage values of this mod against large grid myself and have that serverside like in config files so to avoid updates reverting damage and so on. any help would be greatly appreciated as your mod is by far the best small grid gatling mod iv'e found in every way (almost every way ;q)
