I have also some VF1 (valkyrie if you want)
[JP_EN]Perfect Earth Defense Fleet
thank you.
I plan to update this mod soon.
Could you please give me permission to modify the ship model to a turret rotation version?
There is an SofSE Moder group, perhaps they got some iinteresting models on share;)
While these models are a bit rough, combining this mod with Yamato and the Dedicated Carrier mod are EXACTLY the game play flavor I was looking for.
Kudos. Award given in gratitude to the authors hard work and dedication to one of my favorite science fiction anime series depiction in this game.
PLEASE keep up the amazing work! I'm the kinda geek who has Andromeda Kai (Andromeda Final), Antares with a full flight deck of fighters, Final Battle Yamato, and several Dreadnought battleship models in 1/1000 scattered around my gaming PC.
I know it's a super stretch and there is a ton you have to do on this mod alone before you are done with it and ready to look at adding anything else... but, should you get a wild hair for some modernized Yamato-style warships, a thought towards SBY 2202 series ships would be more mind blowing that mind blowing. Just saying.
Will it be compatible with NSC2 in the future? :)
Also, are there any plans to support NSC4 or expansion of ship types?
I wonder if there are mods that let me make custom Admirals so I can make OP ones like Juzo Okita, Phantom F. Harlock and the like...
Sketchup models are good but too much details and stellaris engine cant handle that.
See the new Astro Carrier in Dedicated Carrier, it's from SBY 2199, the multideck one, that one can reduce your fps by 5 or more due to the extremely high poly. It took me a while to make it work but I'll see if I can make it, no promises tho.
I'd also be really hopeful for capital ships from Gundam, like the White Base, Argamma and Ra Cailum...
-Modified Textures. (They are not the best but at least they're abit more cleaner)
--It's hard to modify the textures due to the way they're uvmapped but Im trying my best to reduce that black lines that are visible, so far they appear a bit "okay" now. See pics or load up a save game to see for yourself.
-Added Temporary locators (This are predefined locators that are set to 0.0.0., The purpose of this is to reduce the error log clutter, and to try to fix the turret firing from the sun, so far, they appear okay.)
-Removed unused broken files.
all in all, it's hard to modify the mesh without the original models but so far, everything seems working fine.
-Future update? cosmo zero as bombers/fighters
I'll be starting from big ships, so from andromeda and so on.
Take your time with updating the models, hopefully the obvious polygon lines get fixed in the future along with NSC support in the long run (and new ships too from like 2202)!
