@Friend; Idk man, if you follow the install instructions it should work. Also make sure the file from the subscribed mod is in the data folder too and not somewhere else.

I understood that the matter is in the "blood" file, in the "data" folder, when I change the file to the original one, the fountains of blood return, but the blood disappears from the ground...Please throw off your "blood" file from the game, if everything works well for you.

@DaKlutzy, hello, partially solved the problem by inserting the "blood" file from "Atilla", the blood stopped disappearing from the ground, only another problem appeared, during the battle the effects of the battle disappeared (fountains of blood after the blow, stopped cutting off limbs, etc.), if you help with this problem, I will be happy)... hello, for some reason, the blood disappears on the ground after 5-10 seconds, what could be the problem? (the graphics settings are set to the maximum)

Is there any way to make these decals stay on the battlefield? Because they dissapear pretty quickly :(

@constantinople; My mistake, you are correct about the .mov file.

I also forgot one thing. Make sure the subscribed .pack file is in data and not in:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\{some number}
If it is in this location, move it to the data folder.


If that also doesn't work, try validating or reinstalling the game.

I believe I might have gotten it to work by finding and deleting some leftover files of the "Better Water HD" mod..? Im not sure, I have SOME blood now. but its significantly less than in your screens and apparently only like 2 distinct decals...

I already did and tried all of what you said, except "both subscribed and downloaded mod are activated in the launcher". what exactly do you mean? .mov files dont show up in the launcher. so I can only activate the subscribed mod in the launcher. or am I misunderstanding something?

@constantinople; Make sure you followed all install instruction in the description.

1. Subscribe to the mod
2. Download additional movie file (link in discussion bellow)
3. Place additional movie file in; Total War Rome II/data
4. In Game Settings:
- Set terrain quality to very high or above (for ground textures)
- Turn on movie file format in mod settings



If it still doesn't work, check the following things:

- Both subscribed and downloaded mod are activated in the launcher
- Check if you have any incompatible mods (like other blood mods)
- Try combining the movie file with one of my other blood mods
- Try using this without any other mods active

@IGG no, it doesnt work either way. mov files are active and Ive tried eliminating every other variant I believe...

has anyone recently used this with DeI? I cannot get ANY blood mod to work (persistent spatters on the ground) and Ive tried everything, downloaded the mov files, unblocked, read-only...

@BOATMOOD; If you want to use this in multiplayer, all other players must have the same mods/files.

There is an issue, i cannot play multi player with this.
