v3 you should make an entrance to the citadel with the doors and hallways and a button to activate alarms.

the hint and skip are hard because the skybox is large and the buildings are offset from one another. im not saying its impossible but any help wuld be great!

add prop fading farz with fog also try to use hint and skip and occluders
check out my map it's also openworld. in this map i get 3 fps and in my map 70 minimum

If you run it on medium graphics it wont. its a huge detailed map and source engine doesn't like maps like that

I'm pretty damn hyped for that update because then my freinds with computers that aren't as great as mine will be able to play and this will make a very good map for an FA:S deathmatch :melon:

Thank you Krow! I love a little constructive criticism to help improve things! Trust me, i know the difficulties of mapping, in the next update (which I've been working on for a week) The entire walkable grass area will be an addition to the city. There will be a couple apartment buildings with several rooms as well as an industrial district with an open middle for gmodders to build! I believe that the framerate issue has to do with the lighting setup in the map so im working on that to balance quality and preformance for the majority of players.

Just a little bit of constructive critisizm, and its only to help. I recognized when I first loaded the map there were framerate issues and I couldn't exactly detect what it was, also that you need to have more rooms and windows you could actually see through inside the buildings. Although your going to fix the framerate issue in this map from which I realized in your past comment with Sid, I personally think there could be a lot of improvements that you need to keep in mind to create a better experience in this map. Finally, I know you cannot just pull new creations out of your A**, because map making is difficult, but I wish you luck in the future bug fixes/map creations you design.
