Custom Texture Compatibility Version does not work with Juniez's Classic Weapons Pack. Only the original version (this one) works with it.
There are now two versions of this addon.
"Glowing Snark Eye - Custom Texture Compatibility", which I have recently uploaded, is compatible with any Snark retexture addon, including yours. And this version, which is compatible with custom viewmodel addons but not with retextures.
Yes, it is not needed. There is a way to make the eye texture glow without modifying the snark_diffuse.vtf, but I didn't know about that back when I made this mod.
I will update the mod, once the 1.5 comes out.
Added glowing particle to the Snark's eye. Unfortunately, the addon now requires manual installation into the custom folder.
Sorry I keep asking... but unfortunately I can't download the file and check it myself for I don't have the game installed
I'm not sure how to produce actual light from the eye. But I will try to make it
Would love to know more about lighting in Source Engine.
