Hate seeing people come here and bitch and moan that modders aren't bending over backwards to accommodate players. Learn to mod if you're so impatient and entitled.
Warning though, destructive dupes can destroy the airlock!!
I had so many weird issue arise that I traced back to a missing airlock. I was so confused how my airlocks kept disappearing, and then I caught that darn Steve in the act! Very bad!
more power to have a higher speed
also yeah the airloch does transfer heat, pretty well too, my persona solution Ernie is through another mod which adds among other things a very insulating refined metal, an airlock made out of that still transfer more than an insulated tile but not even that much, it's pretty great. The mod is Rocketry Expanded if you care to take a look

> This mod should not use power or if any, very little.
The door has an extremely fast integrated pump. Why should it not require power? A simple mechanical airlock requires power, and this includes two of them.
> This is not an easy replacement for liquid locks.
It's not supposed to be. It's meant to be a more realistic alternative.
Any news, is it operational again?
Power and time needed makes it perfectly balanced.
