does anyone know why im not getting the rpgo origins selection choice? I want to make my guy a force user but dont have the option.

Heads up if you are using the RPGO & LWOTC – Compatibility and Balance Patch https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2774354113&searchtext=RPGO it conflicts with this mod as it adds and requires the "Exiled Jedi" origin thus overwriting the "force user" origin perk breaking the specializations.

Please note choose this or the other until fixed.

for anyone who has a problem with lightsabers only appearing in the secondary slot, use TRUE Primaries Secondaries instead of basic Primaries Secondaries, just unsub it and ignore when mods ask for it because it will work regardless. For anyone who can't equip, i'm in the same boat as you

I don't even see a "force user" I get Exiled Jedi, as a squadie perk and then none of the class specializations show up in the second list.

Lightsaber only appears as a secondary and I can't use a primary that is Jedi related, only guns. Any suggestions on how to fix?

So I got myself a jedi, got all excited to do amazing things with him.... except he's missing abilities from rank corporal to colonel. Brigadier has the skills to pick from but absolutely nothing before that, completely empty. Anyone know why that might be? They have the sqauddie perk "force user" but it would be really cool to have a few other abilities along the way... Maybe he's just lying about being a jedi or somthin idk but I'd like him to do stuff.

How come i dont see any skill trees or even origin "Force user" for this? also happens with Super Soldier RPGO and Xeno Officer or w/e None of those skills are showing up ;/

And they aren't in the proving ground at all. Just in the list with the rest of the weapons, except grayed out and unable to be equipped

I have force user on a guy, and bought a few perks in the jedi tree, but still can't equip holocrons or lightsabers? Is this an issue with this mod, or the base mod? Has anyone else encountered this?

When I equip the saberstaff I can't attack with it. Works fine when I equip a one handed lightsaber though. Anyone know what causes this?

@7Svmurai - Use the setting that allows you to choose their starting perks, then you can pick the perk directly and get as many Jedi as you like.

Why does the class have "Holocron" as a valid secondary weapon twice? It seems like one of them is just a duplicate that could be removed.

On that note, the duplicate "Holocron" could do with being replaced with a pistol. Jedi are willing to use them when required, and they will require a pistol if put on a mission with the Lost.

@Donut - I think you need the "Magnetic Weapons" research, despite the Proving Ground showing them before researching it.

@Acadian - You have to build "proper" Lightsabers in the Proving Ground.

Is there a way with RPGO to block the "Force User" perk from being the auto selected one? Otherwise what happens is a soldier who gets that as the perk granted on gaining Squaddie can't actually take any jedi classes, as their selections have already been made.

Hello, thanks for the mod. Is there any way to get Lightsabers to work with the RPGO skill "Kenjutsu", which allows melee attacks within blue-move range to not end the turn. This skill doesn't seem to work with lightsabers at all.

Anyone figure out how to upgrade lightsabers? im currently stuck with the training ones and though i unlocked the upgrade for the ''knight lightsaber'' i cant actually build it and im unsure why

Nevermind, I think some skills in RPGO just override each other in strange ways, I also noticed that Thunderdome (a storm breaker skill) seems to override Reaper.

Not sure if its really possible to fix, but taking saber throw as a skill makes that soldier's lightsaber stop counting as a melee weapon, so for mods that add melee weapon skills you lose the ability to use them upon getting saber throw.

I want to use deflect and reflect skill to normal sword.

Also, I have no issues with it.
Just select the Force User perk for your soldier, if you have manual perk selection enabled in the mod options.
Otherwise I guess you need to get lucky to have one of your squaddies randomly received it.

Ok the mod seems not to work, i forced a "Force User" Perk via console on it. But i can not do anything more with this soldier. He gains no more jedi perks. i can not equip Sabers nothing. Everything else with RPGO works flawless i can not understand it.

I just have a question regarding using this mod with the Specialization Roulette. I have had some characters get Force User but have not gotten any skill lines for Jedi. Is there any way to force the system to give at least one skill tree for Jedi on a Force User origin roll?

When using the Second Wave option that makes you choose specialisations from a limited pool, how did you force the Jedi specs to be added to the list when a soldier gets the Force User origin?

I'm asking so that I can try and apply the same thing to the Supersoldiers plugin

Didnt Sith (and Jedi to a lesser extent) often use heavier armours in the star wars series? seems kinda weird that the specs cant use Heavy armour

The lightsaber noise does not seem to be affected by the effect / main audio sliders.


The description in the proving ground of the saberstaff and lightsaber are the same, i am sure they are different somehow.

There seems to be some mechanic in the required mods that disables perks under some conditions, i am not sure what mechanic it is beside that its slotdependent, it should be somehow explained ingame.

i found some issues too:
Blademaster works only with the meele weapon in the second slot, which means its not possible to make it working with the saberstaff, or the normal lightsaber and the holocron, kenjutsu does not work at all, i have some more crashes now after installing the mod, especially when activating an ascension gate, i think its related to this mod i did not install other but it might be due to changes in xcom or other mods since i last played too,
The mission rewards get in general a little cluttered (however that maybe for me even more due to bunches of useless alloy blades, any idea from what mod they are coming from?)
I got only one forceuser in some 30+ soldiers.

Otherwise you have created a great new mod and outdone yourself
