I don't know, they didn't contact me yet that they would like to incorporate this small fix.

TBH with you I don't know how I can manipulate the trigger interval. If I will have more time on my hands I may try to dig deeper in this matter later on.

I couldn't find the forum links for you but if you go on Youtube and search for "warhammer 2 unique animations" you will find a couple of videos showcasing these awesome animations and AFAIK one of them even states in the description that sadly some of them are indeed factions/game (WH1 or WH2) specific while others are not.
Will let you know if I come across any new ones.
Same deal (just the opposite) e.g. with the Carnosaur grabbing and tossing an enemy troop up in the air then catching it while swinging around, it is only triggered with WH2 faction troops.
Sadly I don't know about any way around these WH1/WH2 specific animations at the moment. :/
