@Tirith Yes. It's setup as an xml patch, as long as the def doesn't change it'll remain compatible, I'll throw a quick update on it to show that.

@Tomstah I've got no clue how to add a slider to a simple set of xml patches, I figure it'd require a heck of a lot more programming knowledge than I'm currently able to muster. If you can figure it out feel free to take over. I'm serious here, no sarcasm. I've only had time to put about 6 hours into Rimworld since June, mostly thanks to my new job.

Hate to be the one, but does this work with 1.2?

Honestly you should give it a slider in mod options. I ended up changing the value my self in the definitions file to 4.9. It's really nice because it allows you to build really nice aesthetics around it like a temple. I doubt anyone would want to defend around it personally anyways.

And I can sort of understand why the default radius is so large. They want us to be limited in building near the tree/shrine.

The problem/pain I have with the default radius is when the anima tree spawns near underground mountain. And one of the tiles is exposed mountain roof. Then you start getting infestations there. The normal strategy is to fill in the holes with walls - but this makes the anima tree unhappy.

That makes this mod really nice, because I'm less likely to run into a situation where I have exposed underground mountain near the anima tree.

Cheers, great mod.

Nice. The default radius is huge, even on the larger map sizes.

Thanks! This is literally exactly what I was looking for.
