It being usable by one soldier was the point, it gave it extra mobility that allowed soldiers to use it like a battle rifle or an lmg depending on the situation.

Actually it's an automatic rifle. The battle rifle designation didn't exist back then, just like the assault designation.

The soviets used it all the way up to the Winter War, though mostly to deplete their ammunition supplies. They weren't exactly fond of the gun for a number of reasons.

That's not what defines an intermediate cartridge though. 6.5mm Arisaka is a full-power, full-length cartridge. Yes, it's not as potent as other cartridges of the time, but that alone does not make it intermediate. An intermediate cartridge is significantly shorter than normal cartridges and often a cut-down version of a full-length cartridge.

The three conditions necessary for a weapon to be classified as an assault rifle are; having a detachable magazine, possessing select-fire capabilities and being chambered for an intermediate cartridge.

As the Fedorov only clears the first two requirements, it is not an assault rifle, but rather a battle rifle.

StG44 wasn't it either, because the Ribeyrolles Machine Carbine of 1918 was actually chambered in an intermediate cartridge. The Fedorov most famous design was inspired by the Chauchat so it's more of a case of the french being the first to everything.

People call the Fedorov an assault rifle because they think 6.5mm Arisaka is an intermediate cartridge simply because it's not as potent as other cartridges of the time, but that's not what makes an intermediate cartridge.

BF1 one is the 1919 version. WWII is the 1923 version. 1916 version was similar, but was not actually used in WW1, none of the 6.5 Arisaka versions were.

The ones used in WW1 were the 7.62 Mosin ones and there are so many goddamn variants I don't know which is which anymore.

The BFV textures are sadly extremely annoying to work with. A friend of mine made a Type 11 model but he has not yet released it afaik.

There are no decent Type 94 models either besides the BFV one.

@Cheerio look there isnt a big variety of type11 models, there is one model but its from BFV. and i cant extract stuff from BFV, cuz i dont have the game and the required tools.

The Type 94 is possible, in fact it was on my list. so yeah, maybe in a future u will see it.
