@gorkemergin2011 Make sure the mod is downloaded fully and selected in launcher. Otherwise, try unsubscribing and resubscribing until it works, which usually fixes most issues.
gorkemergin2011 11 Mar, 2024 @ 3:20pm
Bro why it didn't download. It didin't even start.

Great Mod!
HryszanMariusz 5 May, 2022 @ 2:19pm
Ok, thank you for answer.

@Matt Vonel: I have moved onto modding CK3, and consider all my CK2 mods in a "done" state
HryszanMariusz 4 May, 2022 @ 3:10pm
Are you still updating this mod?
Seven Seas 20 Feb, 2022 @ 11:46am
Yes, the paradox mod manager so I can be check wich mods can get incompatibilities.
Oh, so all the Nowruz thing is the same for all of the immersion mods? What a relief, thanks for answer my questions!
cybrxkhan  [author] 20 Feb, 2022 @ 11:19am
@Nickname What's a compatibility report? I don't think the game has anything like that, is that something with some other kind of mod manager? The Pamir and Dunhuang mods do share some of the same files (mainly with the Nowruz decision/event chain), but those are identical and they'd override each other so it won't cause any issues in game.
Seven Seas 20 Feb, 2022 @ 7:57am
Im asking bc Im getting incompatibilities reports when using them togheter, the same way when using VIET
Double A 20 Feb, 2022 @ 5:22am
they do, in fact, work for me correctly, and I'm playing a Cao game right now
cybrxkhan  [author] 20 Feb, 2022 @ 1:43am
@Nickname Pamir and Dunhuang should be compatible together and most other mods (back when I played CK2 I ran them together fine), though be sure that Steam Workshop and Paradox Launcher have fully downloaded the mods, it's possible the download got corrupted or incomplete.
Seven Seas 19 Feb, 2022 @ 9:11pm
Sadly Pamir mod seems incompatible with Dunhuang mod.
Zszywka 6 Dec, 2021 @ 4:32pm
Could you introduce titles like shogun or daimyo?
Double A 9 Dec, 2020 @ 2:18am
You might want to consider putting Tuyuhun in the Tibeto-Burman group or at least making them eligible for mountaineer academies and monastic-feudal. They're at a bit of a disadvantage as it stands.
StrayDogFreedom 18 Nov, 2020 @ 12:43pm
Was looking for something just like this for a fresh playthrough. Thanks!
cybrxkhan  [author] 13 Sep, 2020 @ 10:02am
@Kapitan Wolfgang: Unfortunately not, sorry! Because they're connected to a lot of other features of the mod, even though it would've been doable it wouldn't have been practical.
[FS] Kapitan Wolfgang 13 Sep, 2020 @ 3:15am
Is there an option to disable the new cultures added by this mod?
Anglo-Saxophone 14 Aug, 2020 @ 1:08am
That's fair, can't wait for the next pack
cybrxkhan  [author] 13 Aug, 2020 @ 10:57pm
@Anglo-Saxophone & Blondo: No plans for the Gauls atm. As Blondo says, by the time of the Charlemagne date, even if the Gaullish *language* survived (which is debateable in and of itself), they would have been so thoroughly Romanized and any remaining communities would have been a minority that it's a moot point. But, either way, I will soon be shifting my attention to CK3 anyhow so after I release my last immersion pack (focusing on the Pamirs), I'll jump ship to that and leave my CK2 mods as is.
Jay Biondo 11 Aug, 2020 @ 8:19pm
@Anglo-Saxophone, the Gallic culture by that point would have been synonymous with the Gallo-Romans, Gauls that were citizens of the Roman Empire, and Romanized further along time. They would have mostly just had Romanized names in Latin, rather than very ancient Celtic Gallic names, such as Lugotorix, just so that we are both clear about that. I do want both Frankish and Visigothic to still be cultures, but the original ethnic groups were Germanics, and I think that the Romanized natives of Gallia and Hispania may be better represented by their provincial demonyms Gallic and Hispanic, similar to how Dalmatia has the Romanized Dalmatian culture (different from new Slavic arrivals, or pre-Romanized Illyrians).

Ultimately, it is up to cybrxkhan what to do. The suggestions we made aside, this Chinese border mod is excellent!
Anglo-Saxophone 3 Aug, 2020 @ 12:12pm
Love your immersion packs, just asking, but are you planning to create a mod based on the last Gauls in France? Whether or not their culture was extinct by the Charlemagne date is still a matter of debate, but it would just make that date a little more interesting
synister 5 Jul, 2020 @ 7:36pm
@Enthused Nudist there is the Hundred Schools mod which adds mohism legalism and confucianism and reworks taoism but it's outdated
Miath 28 Jun, 2020 @ 2:52pm
Fffffrick yes, something for China! Most awesome, thank! :D
Enthused Nudist 22 Jun, 2020 @ 8:40pm
Anybody aware of any other Han Chinese/silk road themed mods? Other than CAFD and this one. For this time period. Not interested in Three Kingdoms or any mods that narrow the scope to just China
cybrxkhan  [author] 21 Jun, 2020 @ 1:21pm
@TheAuditor24: Coincidentally, I am aware of that submod, as when I uploaded a beta version of this on the PI forums not too long ago, the author of that submod, Warial, actually contacted me via private message to discuss maybe integrating a bit of the stuff I made here as well as bounce off a few ideas given I attempted to do a China-themed update years ago during the days of the old VIET, way before even RoI came out.

@VIDEO GAMES: The 936 start is definitely more challenging than the 867 one. With this mod it should be more challenging even, since as the Duke you have to deal with two vassals, and as the vassals, you're stuck with the two weaker provinces of the three remaining ones. On the other hand you do get to take advantage of the decisions/events the mod provides.
VIDEO GAMES 21 Jun, 2020 @ 12:34pm
it was interesting messing around the iron century update and seeing this dynasty with event troops and nothing else. This should make a second playthough as them more interesting.
Justyouraverage 21 Jun, 2020 @ 6:24am
The Return of the King.
TheAuditor24 21 Jun, 2020 @ 3:38am
There's a submod for HIP called Comprehensive Annals of Five Dynasties that adds far eastern regions. If you feel like it, I think making it compatible with that might work.
cybrxkhan  [author] 19 Jun, 2020 @ 4:57pm
@Kreáon While my other Immersion Packs (the Harranian, Peloponnesian, and Amalfi ones) are more or less compatible with the HIP collection of mods, this one is not compatible with the SWMH map, as that does not include the Dunhuang region (it ends halfway to the Tarim Basin), while the vanilla map does, so even if I wanted to make it compatible there's no point as the features won't be of use.
New 2 Dota 19 Jun, 2020 @ 4:02pm
Hello! I'm new to modding and I by chance started using HIP mod. Is this pack by any chance is compatible with mod I am using?
lightupiceberg 18 Jun, 2020 @ 10:06am
@cybrxkhan @enthused nudist
going to give a try with hvamna and fergana (as well as that khurzmatan count!) in the 769 start. dissapointing that the game doesn't really show tang influence in the tarim basin besides the western protectorate in dunhuang.
cybrxkhan  [author] 17 Jun, 2020 @ 5:53pm
@lightupiceberg and Ethused Nudist: Thanks for the kind words! The focus of my history degree was somewhat on the Silk Road, so this area has been of great interest to me for CK2 too.

@lightupiceberg: Besides the newly added playable characters from my mod, I do recommend checking out the Chinese vassals to the various Tarim Basin states if you want to try a China style run. To the west, around the Pamirs and north of the Zunbils, are also a few Iranian counts and dukes of various religions like Manicheism, Buddhism, Khuzmata, etc. that might also be interesting too that I've tried a few times. Lastly at the 867 and 936 start dates there is a Tocharian count or two under the Uighurs, it's a challenging task to revive the Tocharian fortunes.
Enthused Nudist 17 Jun, 2020 @ 12:49am
@lightupiceberg Hvamna in 769 is probably my favorite, as they start independent and conveniently located on top of a trade post. It's a smaller start, but that's the way I usually like it. Buddhist Tocharian, so high learning. I dno if you've ever done a playthrough in that area, but nomadic raiders are pretty vicious. There's also a few Han counts in and around that area ruling over Iranian counties, but I really don't like starting as a vassal, and that entire area is really turbulent. DM me if you wanna chat more
lightupiceberg 16 Jun, 2020 @ 8:08pm
hey nudist. wish there was more content around the tarim basin. what/who do you suggest playing as? the region is so diverse yet in ck2 it's basically an afterthought and has zero content.
Enthused Nudist 16 Jun, 2020 @ 6:39pm
Man, my playthroughs are almost exclusively on the silk road near Dunhuang, so this is amazing. I've wanted something like this for a while. Thanks
lightupiceberg 16 Jun, 2020 @ 5:55pm
hey, haven't loaded up this mod but just wanted to say that this looks fantastic, especially as someone who's really interested in the silk road. Very excited to try this out.
cybrxkhan  [author] 16 Jun, 2020 @ 9:44am
@Chitose Thanks! I had no intentions of doing a China overhaul, as that would be a massive undertaking far beyond my patience and one I just don't think is possible without some really hacky workarounds the way Crusader Kings is designed - my plan from the start was to focus mainly on Dunhuang, given it has a really unique and interesting history during the Crusader Kings time period, a history that is both connected and similar to but also divergent from mainland China in many different ways.

A few features were however from some ideas I had for a general Asian themed Immersion Pack (like the Asian history events and courtier spawn) that I never got around to.
Chitose 15 Jun, 2020 @ 2:11am
Nice, were you going to make a China overhaul mod but end in a smaller scale?
