No. Don't you find it? Click in the picture link on this page
Ah man, thanks for doing that. You're a legend! I just tested it out and it's still working great. Cheers!
That's really odd.
However, I've updated this mod just so you can enjoy the updated version, but if it doesn't work out let me know so I can revert back to previous version.
It's useless to keep using this because they are the same, literally identical, with the only difference that the other will be updated.
In the next update i will remove it because it's pointless anyway on this mod, actually GCCM maps are not randomized in the current version, and they will if i disable that feature.
It's in the description
Important: If you don't have GCCM installed, in custom battle panel you will find blank spaces which are the GCCM maps you don't have. Just ignore those and scroll down to find the normal maps.
Bretonnia has 5 chance of weather, only one of them is night, so it's 1 out of 5. Unless you consider "sunset" or "rain" to be night cause they are darker than day.
Bretonnia night is kinda blueish.
Vampire, on the opposite, has mostly night, rain or moody weather.
You can tell you are playing on vampire area by the look of the night: if it's greenish or it has a light snow falling than it's definitely vampire, so it means you are in a battle within vampire region or corruption, and you won't find that many frequent nights in every other place.
Well it has become very noticable playing as Bastonne. (as Bohemond Beastslayer with Mixu's unlocker) A stone's throw away from Kemmler, so that may be why.
Even still, I think night battles are generally not very fun to play in because of low light levels. The map 'Eschen' still feels dark enough without taking too much away from visibility.
Yes
@Deichmann
Daytime is set to happen more than night, unless you play Vampire or on Vampire areas.
Which faction are you playing and in what region you find too many night battles?
@Neferte13 there is probably to change the weather via using the UI modding tool but that is beyond my knowledge and also connecting all the pieces together just to form it is alot of work and the way WH2 environment are set up in the pack files also make it alsmot impossible to do without having to rewrite all them and putting them in specific folders within the mod. lets see what WH3 brings :D
There are plenty of opportunities to improve weather and gameplay from Creative Assembly, the engine already support all that stuff so it's all on their will.
We waited 4 years for Warhammer 3, so they have no excuses to add those things, expecially when other Total war games (same engine) already have them.
That's pretty good, especially those playing VC but don't want the night battles (although that's been modded now)
I like the idea of raining battles, especially for Bretonnians (not sure why lol) I think it's the idea of slogging it out in muddy fields - virtually slowing everything down, even though terrain hasn't been made like that on here yet other than marsh / hill.
I think it's technically possible but I am not able to do it sorry, it goes beyond my knowledge.
My hope is that with Warhammer 3 they will use the same system as TW: 3kingdoms where you can select weather and time of day.
I don't understand, do you mean you want all battles to be rain or snow?
It is not possible to make random weather in the campaign map.
What i mean in the description is BATTLES during the campaign, along with custom battles.
Nice job
I don't know if this was mentioned, but some temperate deserts that occasionally get rain during the day can get snow at night.
I don't if you can make it exclusive to provinces in the northern desert but I wouldn't nitpick light snow in the middle of Warhammer's Sahara.
Keep in mind that Total War: 3 Kingdoms already had that, so considering that every game after Warhammer 2 have weather and cycle, Warhammer 3 will probably have it too. Let's hope
Nice job
This looks like the skybox wasn't loaded. It may be a typo in the lighting file. Can you tell me if that was a custom battle or during campaign? if the latter, which area it was?
I've checked and Vampire and Vcoast audio (they share the same sounds) are set to be only on their cities and some "vampire" maps such as marbad tomb, exavation site, etc.
I would love to use both of them but like you said, it didnt work together.
No, snow can only happen where it makes sense: Empire, Sylvania, Bretonnia , Dwarfs and Chaos territories.
No snow in desert, jungle or wasteland.
It is compatible with SFO and Dryrains
And is this SFO Compatible in combination with Dryans Reskin mod ?
Nope, it's only visual.
@ere4s3r
Thank you mate :)
True glory lies in reshaders though comrade, but still thanks for your amazing work! :D This mod should be in base its one of those little things that adds a ton
Reshades should work with any mods, since they are a different thing.
However, consider that this mod tunes lighting and colors, so if you use reshade only for those things it's pretty much redundant.
