That would mean coding an entirely new system for object placement for the mod. Would it be nice to have? Absolutely. Would it be worth the effort? Not a chance.
This mod is just a replacement in sprites, which is as basic as it gets for mod making. You don't even need to touch code to make a mod like this, so asking for that is just extremely, colossally unreasonable.
Variety being the spice of both Life and Starbound, please consider making these an addition to the crafting options or...
