The bug is that the m2_carbine_1 is using the m2_carbine entity, the vanilla one, when it is supposed to use the m2_carbine_1 entity.
The request is that to add the M1 Garand with scope, a sniper Garand.
**can anyone tell me why the Soviet Maxim MG and BM-37 mortar are indestructible? - cannot figure out how to resolve the problem.
@Floppa gaming
SIG M1920 is now called Type BE SMG, Germany has the MP-28 SMG. The G43 Sniper is coded to function as it does in vanilla AS2 - more like a DMR I guess.
@Dr_Hey
Thanks. These are all good suggestions but I don't have good quality models available for them unfortunately.
For the Germans, the K98k with the ZF41 long eye relief optical sight
USSR:
Rifles: SVT-38
Smgs: PPD 34/36/38 (stick mags only)

MGs: MG08, MG 08/15 (one on a stand and one that has a bipod), MG-13, MG-15 (squad weapon version), Madsen 1902, Knorr-Bremse 1935/36 (MG-35), ZB-37

And on the Italian side, since some Italian weapons are present, and in the same field, the very particular grenade launcher Carcano "Tromboncino" M28.
And for the Soviet side, the 40.8-mm Dyakonov Rifle Grenade Launche for the Mosin M91/30.
So each faction could have such particular (long range) weapon, the only "artillery" available for an infantry squad (and platoon) leader, on the model of the "V-B tromblon", in service with the French Army since 1914 (and which will even be used on the M1917 and M1903 Enfield rifles during the First World Wa by US Army) , and widely copied since.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Added new weapons:
M50 Reising SMG, M55 Reising SMG, Webley Mk.IV .38 Revolver, Type 98 Grenade, Type 93 HMG, Johnson M1941 LMG (new model), Johnson M1941 Rifle, Lanchester SMG with 50 round magazine, MP-28 SMG (new model), Type BE SMG, Type 100 Flamethrower (new model), Vickers No.2 Mk.I LMG, Type 96/99 LMG with correct optical sight
More MG mounts and mortars to come soon.
@Falzone I'll look into adding the HDM and Welrod next update.
And great news for adding new weapons.
Cheers.
Having said that, I am planning to add a few new weapons for the base AS2 factions soon
I was thinking of adding Italian, French and Chinese weapons but really that starts to expand the mod well beyond what I had originally intended.
"The british flamthrower is incorrectly using the flamethrower tank instead of the flamethrower."
"The normal mg-34 has a 100 round magazine."
The bugs you mentioned are fixed - thanks for reporting them
Aside from the DPM, the weapons you requested are not what I would call common WW2 weapons and would work better in Random Weaponry by Justano
With this in mind, this mod is also usable with Robz, but at the cost of the same modifications ...
A little work in perspective !
**Mod is not currently compatible with Valour or RobZ Mod**
It's sometimes interesting to read such informations ...
Also can you add the m2 hyde, ZH-29, DPM, MP-35, PPK-42 and/or the Erma EMP 44? Or are they better in Justano's mod?
No, but I would recommend Mandingo's workshop for the weapons of many other nations (Epic Italian Skins, EBIN FINNISH SKINS :DDD, Epic French Skins, Epic Polish Skins) as well as the mods Valour and The Rising Sun.
THESE GUNS
Yea, the guns are definitely all a bit dark in-game - it is a trade-off in turning off specular maps on most of them as I find specular makes them way too bright and reflective - wood grain starts having an extremely reflective surface for example. Not sure what to do with it really - they look much better in the Gates of Hell: Ostront lighting engine.
Added Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine
Added Arisaka Type 44 Carbine
Updated screenshots to reflect newest updates
"In October 1943 as part of a program to improve the usability of the BAR, several carry handle designs were produced and tested. The result of the design and test efforts was the “Handle, Carrying, T4” which was recommended for adoption in December 1944 for all services by request of the Marine Corps."
