Thank you so much for making this mod. I've been looking for a reliable mod that helps to guarantee bleedout as well as modifying the bleedout timers. And this thing does just that.

It wasnt showing in mission, it was showing while on the avenger, while examing your trooper.

It adds a flat 60%
So, if it was 10%, it gets upgraded to 70%

Try unsubbing and resubbing, sometimes the mods don't get updated correctly.
I've checked with Yet Another F1 and Extended Information. And neither shows it.

Could you link a screenshot if it still shows up after resubbing?

PS, do the vests ADD to your current bleedout chance? Or does it replace the current chance with a 60% chance?

Gone with Improved Vests.
The display bug should be fixed now, the effects were never meant to show up in the tactical UI.

You should change the name to Usefull Vests, make a standalone version or something, modders have been trying to get vests on par with bullets and grenades for a while. Usually, there's never any reason to waste an Elerium Core on a vest when you can fill that utility slot with a Mimic Beacon, Mindshield, or Medkit. I think you've finally cracked it.

I'll take a look at that.

This bonus applies to ALL vest-type items in XCOM2, from low-tech to high-tech.
Mod-added vests also gain the bonus..

As for descriptions, I don't think I can modify those on the fly. It would probably have to be added in the localized strings on a per-item basis.

Also, a bug report: All my troops currently have "missing "LocFriendlyHook" for "BleedoutModifierEffect" effect" as part of their traits.

This is an enourmous boost to Vests, it may even make them relevant again!
1) Does this apply even to the basic vest built in engineering? What about the Hellweave?
2) Can you add this effect to the description?
